Came new on front of a GLC Merc I bought. Have been surprised by how good they are. No issues with grip in wet/dry and are very quiet. Have done 7000ml on them and wear rate looks good. Only issue may be stability at high speed as the car seems to “wander” a bit on the motorway and needs small steering corrections. I’ve never had this on previous Mercs so it may be the cheap tires. Based on this, I will replace them with premium tires when replaced.

These have been fitted since new and not sure whether its the tire or car at fault. After just over 10000 miles the outer edges are slicks and down to 3.4 mm These are MO Scorpion verdes 255/45/r20 will not be putting same on again

Bought a GLE from Mercedes main dealer with feathered tires,handling was shocking and they refused to change them so I bit the bullet and paid for 4 x tires.Had Pirelli P Zeros on there and replaced them with Hankook Evo 3……. Wow it’s like a new car,handling great and how it should of from the beginning.Looked at lots of reviews and decided on these because of the good ratings in both wet and dry as I’d aquaplaned in the Pirelli tires.£186 each at Just Tires in Lewes.

I was looking for quiet and comfy tire for my SUV. This is it. So coming from that point of view. These tires meet the requirements and nothing more. Definitely not a sporty tire, installed on not a sporty car.

A full set came fitted to the used Mercedes GLC we purchased. After never having heard of these tires I was pleasantly surprised. Do a little more digging and you find that David Coulthard (yes the F1 driver) endorses these tires and helped with their development! They are one of the quietest tires I have ever experienced - given that's its a Mercedes SUV things are pretty quiet in the cabin anyway, but I noticed that the Goodyear tires fitted to a similar age/spec/mileage GLC was noticeably harsher and noisier. These tires have a very unusual dot pattern in between the tread blocks, I can imagine this contributes to noise suppression. Being an SUV it doesn't get thrown around like a car would. That said you have full confidence flooring the throttle in the wet on these. Acceleration and braking is good enough - being a 4matic it's more difficult to break traction anyway compared to a FWD SUV and these tires seem to work very well on the GLC. Wear is probably the only drawback - in the few months I've driven on them (around 4mm tread when we got the car) I'm starting to see bald shoulders on the front tires, this is the design of the blocks and the rest of the tire still has 3.5mm+ and the tires have been correctly inflated. The tires don't seem to offer a great deal of rim protection either although at a 55% SUV profile this is less of an issue than say a 30% profile. The top brands seem to have a thicker rim protection flange which in my opinion looks quite good. I get the sense that it's a very soft compound, excellent grip and a low noise tread design at the expense of wear. Goodyears and Pirelli's most likely will last longer, but they are more expensive (Cooper's available around £90 a corner) and noticeably harsher (in terms of noise and comfort). As the vehicle has a remote monitoring app it's the first time I've been able to monitor tire pressures over the course of a few months daily. It's been very interesting to see the pressures drop as much as 4psi over 10deg C, I'm not sure if all tires would vary to the same degree. All in all, would definitely buy these tires again. Once you've had a quiet tire fitted to an SUV it's very difficult to swap to anything noisier. The dB rating for this tire is 70dB but it feels more like 68dB.

This was my first change of tires on this car. Experiences are relative to the Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT that originally came with the car. Changed the tires at at 20,000km after I picked up a nasty bolt on one of the tires.

The PS4 SUVs are definitely more comfortable and provided better tracking and feel (as much as a GLC can offer) compared to the Bridgestones. Traction was appreciably better and this allowed me to take the same sweeping bends with greater confidence. 35psi proved to be the sweet spot for the right balance between handling and comfort.

Had the tires for a while now but have held off sharing till I had the opportunity to experience them under wet conditions.

I got my wish today when the skies opened up and gave me a proper heavy tropical thunderstorm. Driving through the city and on the highway, with lashing tropical rain and large standing puddles (on the highway), I am happy to share that the handling was both composed and surefooted. Driving over standing water, at 80km/h, did not leave me with any aquaplaning. This was despite my repeatedly driving over all available standing water (near the median of the highway) all the way home.

Am happy with the PS4SUV so far. More expensive than other offerings in this tire size? Likely. But my previous experiences with higher end Michelin tires on previous cars have convinced me that the price premium is justified.
