Driven for around 45000 km to its very last breath (front ones), all four will be replaced in a few days by the AllSeasonContact 2 (which I'm very much looking forward to try).

The Continental Premium Contact 7 have displayed an immaculate behaviour both on dry and wet roads of all kinds, in terms of traction, handling, breaking, etc. I have found them sincerely comfortable and never as noisy as some people have previously stated. Guess there are some traits highly subjective.

Referring to safety, the car felt balanced and surely footed, with no complains whatsoever. I couldn't notice any diference in fuel economy when compared to my previous tires (Michelin PS4). The wear has been equal with no issues detected, and perfectly predictable until the very end (only minor misbehaviours when heavy rain has poured on and almost no tread was left to drain it away because of the life-ending wear).

Btw, I drive quite light-heartedly :)

Conclusion: best tires i've run to date (Michelin Primacy 3, Bridgestone Turanza T001 Evo, Michelin CC+ and Michelin PS4 are the ones I can compare with).

I love these tires that are very inexpensive for the performance. Every spring, when I switched back from winter tires, I bought a pair of new summer tires, upgrading each year until I finally had the F1 Asymmetrics on all four corners. They completely suit the car. Grip, especially in the wet is amazing and they are very comfortable. It's important to make sure that wheel alignment is correct. Unlike winter tires, they won't tolerate any toe out and the effect on steering will be obvious. They can still deliver the performance down to 5 degC but grip, especially if the tires are more than five years old, completely disappears below 3 degC. Currently replaced by a set of All Seasons until the spring.

These were great winter tires that were finally replaced for reasons I'll explain below. They actually still had a lot of tread left. Grip in the dry and wet was very good. When they were new, I could drive on ice that I couldn't walk on as if it was a damp road. They made short work of moderate snow. They were extremely comfortable and usually quiet although certain road surfaces caused a drone. Handling was OK although the tread squirmed under hard acceleration, needing care to keep in a straight line. I noticed when I put them on for the fifth winter that cold weather grip wasn't as good. When I put them on for season six, the tread had hardened further. They had no grip whatsoever on a slightly icy road and were immediately scrapped. This may be an issue for most winter tires. In future I'll be scrapping tires when they're five years old, regardless of wear

The original tires that came from the manufacturer were Continental Sportcontact 5 which were definitely of a high standard and allowed the vehicle to be stable in any condition. After replacing the tires straight it was felt that the vehicle had become "soft" and not really suitable for the type of vehicle I was driving and not for the nature of the suspensions. The sidewall of the tire is not strong enough and is "crushed" in any lateral load applied to the tire. Low level tire but for the price of course the value is worth it.
