Skoda Fabia 1.4TDi Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Nokian Line given 91% (185-60-14-H)
Driving on a combination of roads for 28125 easy going miles
Imensely good on both dry and wet. 45000 Km on them and from 8 mm they are just now at 5 mm, so halfway worn. unfortunately they have a whole lot of cracks on the thread so have to change them. The dot is 4214 so not even 5 years old from production date.

Driving on mostly country roads for 1000 average miles
Fitted these tires after running remoulds over last winter. What a difference! Mpg up to 50(ish). Really nice good mannered tire.Quiet on Scottish roads.First time with Nexen.Mainly stuck to premium brands. These trees perform just as good but at half the price. Cannot tell what wear will be like yet.

Driving on a combination of roads for 20 average miles
Had them for about 4 years now, used only for winter season. Good traction on snow. Budget tires, rubber seems to be of a good quality, soft, deep protector. Although very noisy on high speeds, poor balance quality, after a few bumps starts to vibrate. But rather good wearing. Wont buy again, since there are some decent tires for a low price nowadays.

Second, not the end, the other tire is now showing a same kind of mark at the outer side and I requested an online comlaint but they say it is because of allow wheels, I guess no Apollo tire should be able to bear the weight of the vehicle fitted with an alloy wheel, again there is no visit and they say it can not be replaced when I talk to them over the phone.

I saw these tires, although they have Roadstone on the side wall, they look identical to the Nexen and Roadstone are made by Nexen. Have found these to be excellent, after 11k the fronts still have 4mm of tread and the rears 6mm. Both wet and dry grip is very good and the car feels comfortable to drive. I would recommend these tires.

Fitted on front to replace worn out Sport Contact 2, no longer available.
Lasted about 16k, seem reasonable but disappointed with wear for £100+ tire.

Came as OE on my Fabia Estate, disappointed only lasted 16k on the front.
Just changed the rears after 32k, down to 3mm, but no trail left on wet roads, so decided it was time for a change.
Seem quite good in the summer but, in snow no grip whatsoever.

Fabia TDI

Just bought 2 for the front replacing 2 Avon VZ. Only driven a few miles and immediate notice that far quieter, firm handling and smoothed out bumps in the road.
Much better than the Avons that had been on just over a year but had to be replaced.
