Finding the correct tire pressure was difficult, I eventually found them on a Bridgestone website. There the worst tires I've had on a motorcycle (wet/cold) but OK in the dry. In the cold/wet they take at least ten miles of careful driving to warm up. During the warm up period it feels like your riding on ice/diesel/tramlines. The bikes in perfect running condition, all bearings replaced, wheel alignment checked. Other riders tell me that they've experienced similar handling issues & on the Bridgestone website they suggest warming the tires before taking to the track/road.

I never read the opinions about these so my feelings are unaffected by what others think - I ride a big bandit and I ride it hard. I used 021 on the front and rear. The bike never seemed unstable or unpredictable. The grip is excellent in corners even when it's cold the rear would not slip when I throttled out. I ride aggresively and try to push the limits - never had serious situation. the front however was eaten up quite quickly - I did 3,5kkm and the sides got slick. The top of the tire was still ok.
I didn't get another set as I went for 023 instead. I would recommend 021 for heavy bikes and for riders who want a good grip in the corners and decent wear. I never go extreme in the rain so I can only tell that when you use your head while riding on wet there's little probability that these tires will surprise you.

For a bike like Bandit 1200 S (2005) tires as Michelin PR2 are maybe the best in comparison of what you pay / what you get.
Yes, there is newer model (PR3) and most probably, those will be my next, but, not before this ones are not wasted. Before I drove on DUNLOP, and METZELER, also on my Suzi, but can freely say, no compression.
Dry grip unbeatable, not too many opportunities to drive on WET (like rain), but on freshly washed streets yes. Maybe it was up too me that in cornering I felt a bit of sliding, because my previous bike was gixxer.

All in all, YES, recommendation for everyone who has a tradition of Michelin and who uses big heavy bike.

Just fitted to my Bandit 1200S. Definitely best tire I've ever used. Super confident in all weathers and much better on steering too. Bike turns quicker and more easily than on the previous Pilot Road 2's. Don't know about wear rate yet and would expect to wear quicker than the 2's but reading reviews leads me to hope for longer life. I do about 10000 miles a year as a bike trainer so good life is also important. Buy them - you won't regret the decision.
