Tesla Model Y Perf Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 given 90% (255-45-19-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
I run this tire on a Model Y Performance in 19' and occasionally drive the tire to the limit. On the wet this tire is excellent no mater what you demand from it, and I have to praise a very progressive transition to slip so the tire is very easy to drive on the limit. Snow handling is very good, but if you are for max traction there are better winter tires. On the dry the tire is just OK, and as a negative I have to mention a rather low grip under braking (cornering is OK). Comfort is OK, and although I use it on EV (no sound absorbing foam version) there are no strange sounds (howling at certain speeds) and sound levels are OK.

Driving on mostly country roads for 10500 spirited miles
I have a staggered setup with 255/40R21 in the front and 275/40R21 on the rears I love these tires. They are quite grippy and I find them good not excellent but good in the wet. Yes there are better rain tires but the are not as good in the dry. It's always a compromise. In the winter I'm driving on CrossClimate 2 SUV in 275/40R20 all around and they are better in the rain but much worse in the dry...all about the season and the compromises.

Put these on my Model Y performance. They are definitely a winter tire as the summer ones grip and hold the road better 21 inch turbine wheel. For Tahoe driving the X ice and snow are the superior way to go. AS i will be swapping them out when ski season ends they should last and wear well
