Driving on mostly country roads for 18000 spirited miles
The tires are good for the price. They have good grip, but not excelent, they're good on wet, but not excelent, and have average comfort. My main problem with them is the deformation of the tires. Yes, deformation, at 120-130 km/h the steering wheel starts shaking like crazy and I didn't realize where it comes from untill i got new winter tires. Yeah, i know the roads in my country are far from perfect, but the last tires i got didn't have that problem and I drove them the same roads, the same style I drive these Pt741. And on the top of that they are XLs.In conclusion I can say it's good tire if you want to go budget, but I can't compare it to a premium tire.

After reading many review i decided to give them a chance.
Overall al very good summer tire,
I would like to make a special remark about nowaday tires (michelin energy saver plus and goodyear vector 4 seasons gen 2) these 2 types of tires always look like underinflated (sidewalls) even at normal or higher tire pressure. For my car an 2002 Volvo V40 115HP, they gave my car more like a floating feeling (both straights and turns).
I recently drove with a friends VW california 2019 with also the goodyear Vectors 4 seasons gen 2, now it was overwelming, at highway speed the van needed to be corrected all the time... more like sailing than driving.
Its like a contradiction but some confortable tires on some models of cars are the opposite of that.
The nexens hd plus keeps my volvo much more controlable and easy to drive, than the 2 more expensive tires, best tire i had for my car.
Dont trust all the professional reviews, some of them gave these tire very good results in the wet, some gave it dangerous properties in the wet so they coudnt possibly recommend it... Also read a review here from an uncontollable rent car in greece with these nexens, are you sure the steering wasnt damaged after an accident????
Some reviews are very hard to believe, ABS that refuses to lock or unlock them , or locks itself because of these tires? Stil dont get it, haha
Very happy with my first budget tire (44euro/piece). Very good control at highway speeds in Belgium and Germany (at 150kmh) I recommend them and feel safe with them as summer tires (my winter tires are conti wintercontact ts850, also very verry good).

Put these on my wife's Volvo V40 in replacement of some cheap and nasty Landsails which came with the car. The car feels much more secure on the P7s. Grip well in the wet as well as the dry. Not a high performance tire, but neither is the car! Ideal for easy going driving on motorway or country lanes.

Writing about the Autogrip P308 given 76% (215-45-17-)

I bought these tires to replace some Runway Performance 926 tires that had worn badly due to tracking problems, and I have to say the difference is very noticable.

Autogrip P308 in comparison to Runway Performance 926 tires wear better, have a stiffer sidewall, lower road noise, better dry grip and wet grip by a considerable margin and are far more progressive. Also they have a very useful rim lip overlap that protects the rim well from curbing and scuffing. I am well pleased with these tires for the cost vs performance.

However, the Autogrip P308 is not an expensive tire and this shows in several areas. To start the wet highlights the drawbacks in tread and compound; it is slower to stop from speed and corners less well than more expensive brands, however as a budget brand this is understandable, and it still performs very safely.

At high speeds the tire isn't as balanced as it should be, with vibration beginning to set in as you approach an indicated 75mph, however this is mild. For this reason I wouldn't reccomend this tire for fleet car work, but for mixed driving or town work this tire is an excellent compromise.

Grip when cornering is surprisingly good, the feel is progressive and the vehicle controllable as you approach the limit. This is aided by the strong sidewalls which I am genuinely impressed with.

Rolling resistance appears to be very good considering the high dry grip levels, as my fuel economy has actually noticably improved since fitting these tires, while the Runway Performance 926 tires were awful in this regard, I'd say an approximate 5% increase in mixed driving over the last 2500 miles.

Overall I would return to the Autogrip P308 as it really is exceptionally good for the price, but I would always prefer a Hankook or Khumo to these.

Drove 55000 km, but now these tires worn to the limit. I think it would last more but my suspension setup isn't perfect so that's why these tires wear so fast.

Car had these on when I bought it. Volvo V40 T4 (200 bhp) 1998.

Very high noise on motorway most of the time. Poor cornering control in the dry and even worse in the wet. Aquaplane easily. In rain almost entirely lose feeling of feedback.

Worst aspect: Despite being less than 3 tears old, and only 9000 miles normal driving, all four tires are cracking up! The tread is literally disintegrating in the spaces between the blocks. I have never seen this on tires before, under 10 years old! The front tires are only 1 mm above the wear limit indicators, despite little spirited driving. The new fronts were 3 months old according to the receipt. Rears have lots of tread but cracking up too!

Either these are a grossly inferior rubber mix, or the Chinese factory has serious quality control issues("Made in PRC" in tiny print: Peoples Republic of Crapola). Any European tire would be better, from Fulda upwards.

used for two seasons and half, excellent in the dry, great sealing, behave very well on the moisture on wet you have to be sensitive, but it is a matter of course seen the design created more for the dry than for the wet. I have tried other brands, all in the third year became hard and with low grip, these federal are still soft and have lost little respect to the new, now my hips are almost smooth and just slightly exceed the 70km / h to lose grip in the puddles. I'd buy another one right away, but I would try the Nexen N9000 to have less problems aquaplaning

As we live in a rural backwater I fitted a set of these to my wife's Volvo V40 last winter. Not really put to the test last year. However, put them back on this winter. Really put them to the test today. Compacted snow and freezing temps made the road in front of my house like an ice rink. These tires were brilliant. Took it steady on the way out. No wheel spin and they felt very grippy. On the way back I decided to put them to the test and put my foot on the break. They kept me going in a straight line. Extremely good value and more importantly I felt safe with them in each corner. Will be putting a set on my V70 D5.
