Volvo XC90 (2) D5 momentum Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Avon ZX7 given 71% (275-45-20-)
Driving on mostly town for 10000 average miles
All four tires developed cracks in between the tread after just three year and less than 10k miles.
Avoid.

Driving on a combination of roads for 24000 spirited miles
Used all year round for 39000km starting in a snowy winter. They handled snow covered roads with fairly steep inclines very well. Performed better than Pirelli Scorpion winters on snow in my opinion (which are not good at all as they get toward the end of their wear). Handling is ok but not great. They are of course noisier than summer tires but tolerable on most road surfaces. We have been happy with the tires but are now going back to dedicated summer and winter tires.

15000 miles and rear tires still 3my. For a very heavy car that’s really. These are much cheaper than Continentals ( even cheaper than VOL ones!) and I can’t tell the difference. Would buy again from my independent tire dealer

Driving on a combination of roads for 6000 average miles
6000lbs car needs good rubber. These are better than the Continentals from the factory. Better grip and less noise. So far (6000miles) have good wearing qualities.
