Road Tire vs Track Tire Teaser...

This is the second teaser we've published for this road vs track tire report, but instead of just a pretty photograph this time we actually reveal some of the data we collected.

The venue, Donington Park in Derby. The contenders - the Kumho V70a and the Toyo T1R. As promised we won't go into too much detail this time, but check out this lovely overlay from google earth showing apex speeds and G readings on each of the tires.

We'll save revealing the total time advantage of the track tires until the full article - we've got to give you something to come back for after all. Guesses in the comment section would be really interesting to get an understanding of how much time people think sticky track rubber is worth.
