215/70 R16 Tire Review Highlights
Writing about the General Grabber GT Plus rated 99%
while driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 4x4
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 average miles
Fiitted Gt plus and got excited with the dry and wet grip, comfort, low noise, accurate steering and economy. Excellent driving in the wet, best tire I had ever had. Had replaced the Goodyears Efficient grip 2 SUV, which were a bit better in the steering in highways but less grip everywear else. Need to mention GT plus are made of double layer of polyamide on the tread, instead of one layer in Goodyears, and I think this makes GT better. GT plus is A rated in wet, and can drive on sand, therefore I beleive it is not a classic summer tire but an excellent H/T highway terrain tire. Also uses the Continental tech. Therefore highly reccomented for SUVs.

while driving a Mitsubishi Outlander
Driving on a combination of roads for 13000 easy going miles
I bought 4 Bridgestone LM005 winter tires at the end of 2020. They have been used for 4 winter seasons since then. The pattern is missing in many places on the outer tread. If it were natural wear, the entire outer tread would have been worn, but here only one is missing. I think they are defective in production. I do not recommend them for this reason. Otherwise, there are no other problems.

Driving on a combination of roads for 200 average miles
This is the first snowfall using this brand. After my french class in Laval, Quebec. The road is not plowed for about 5-10cm snow, the tire tread works perfectly on the snow with a mix of slush on some parts of the road. It really divides the snow/slush all the way!

Traction control kicked in almost every time I touched the brakes in wet weather, cornering was done at below 30mph to ensure no drift. Dry weather was better if road surface was very rough.

Very good tire for price. If you drive carefull, you dont need more expencive tire than this Rotalla model.

Driving on mostly country roads for 5000 easy going miles
Good solid grip at all times with traction especially good on cold slush. Comfortable ride possibly at the cost of sidewall strength.

European version asx 215/70r16 , before had Michelin Latitude Cross for 55k kms, but was very noisy on road and fuel consumption getting up 0.5 liters/100km. Conti real great in the first 4.000km silent and also consumption was significant less than before. Hope have keep having this nice performance for more than 40k kms.

Tires are on car from the day of leaving the factory. I consider them as offroads while on road they perform quite unrealiable. They stihli hlave 5mm left after 40 000 km. Noisy on all surfaces. Would not recomend..

Writing about the Event ML698 rated 68%
while driving a Toyota 2006 Avalon
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
I have these Event Ml698+ tires fitted on my 2006 RAV4. They are quite noisy on roads but otherwise work as expected. I haven't had a chance to test them in deep mud yet, though they seem to perform well in offroad conditions. I live in Finland and the winters are tough around here. These tires perform well enough in snow, when there is no ice underneath the snow layer. You have to drive really carefully on ice, if you wish to stay on the road. Additional studs would probably improve tracktion on ice.

Overall I'd recommend these tires for 4x4s, mainly because of the low price point.
