Writing about the Firestone RoadHawk

Allways had continental van contact, 100s and 200s never had an accident never have i skidded out or lost control with these tyers drove in thick ice heavy rain there great. Firestone's death traps do not buy for your van, they have no stability and my van wobbles from side to side horrible things stirring is now not very responsive. If you push the tyers with your foot the whole van is wobbling. There coming off as soon as I can afford too. Big mistake if your used to continental van contact the difference is might and day don't make the same mistake I did trying to save 40 euro a tire , not worth it. Hope this helps as there are not many true reviews out there on Firestone van tires.

I replaced my worn front tires with these at the advice of the garage. My van previously had Michelin Agilis 51 that had covered aprox 35k miles.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend these tires. They were on in the dry, but as soon as it rained these had no grip and it was difficult to put traction down when coming out of junctions. I also did not feel confident in their stopping ability, especially in the wet.
After only 21k miles they had worn down to 3mm. As my rear Agilis had now worn to 2mm (at 55k I’ll add) I decided to change all 4 tires at the same time. When I ran the numbers I calculated the cost per 1k mile was actually higher with the Falkin than the previous tires, and with a dramatic decrease in ability.
I would strongly recommend someone to look elsewhere for tires. There price now means they aren’t even so ‘midrange’ as they use to be, getting close to the cost of premier tires.

Writing about the Michelin Agilis CrossClimate

I have used cross climate on a Citroen Berlingo van and a Citroen dispatch. Both vans did 20k before swapping fronts and rears. Both vans have the same tires 30k later with plenty of tread remaining. These are the best tires I've had fitted and they are now all I purchase. I pay roughly £110 per tire, which isn't cheap but the millage I get makes them great value considering I've had to replace Hancooks after 12k and also had one not so much blow out as completely erupt on the rear of a transit custom.

I had never heard of these tires before... But since having them will definately be buying them again. They are quieter than I had expected but have stood up to both Highway and dirt tracks I travel on daily. They deliver everything I want in an all terrain tire and more.

Has these tires in Commercial version at the back of the Luton van for 7/8 months. Then had both blown out within 4 days period. With the first blow out the van was loaded, with the second blow out, the van was empty.
Ended up without the wheel to replace as it happened during international trip and used the spare at the first blow out.
Luckily the driver and the van are OK, but the tires should be removed from the market.

Tires feel great and although not tested in cold weather/snow, they appear to have the quality to carry them through any conditions. A little noisy (low drone) compared to the standard Agilis 51, particularly on hard cornering but not enough of a noise for it to be a problem

Two winters on these W Drive tires now. No problems in the snows of winter 2017-18 in a pennine area with gradients and with a steep driveway too. Plenty of grip. Car always feels planted and solid in cornering. Very good wet and slushy braking characteristics. Slightly more noisy than summer Bridgestones in the dry. Definitely would buy again.

Writing about the Nokian WR D4

Very reassuring in extreme wet conditions. Only limited use on snow but worked in the sense that no chains were needed, when several other cars were stuck.
Increased fuel consumption by ca. 10% compared to summer tires, but some of that difference will be down to temperature.
Weared far quicker than expecting. Two of the four were down to 4mm, and hence no longer suitable for winter use, after less than 8000 miles. This was despite swapping them around and only using in Winter. Summers last over 20000 on this car.

With this tires your car is just "glued" to the road - very stable on a wet, icy or snow roads.
