295/30 20 Tire Review Highlights

Dunlop Sport Maxx Race 2 rated 91% while driving a Porsche 1993 928 GTS
Driving on mostly country roads for 2500 spirited miles
The N version that came standard with my GT4 RS is on par with the best in dry conditions but I was surprised with the wet grip, better than the Cup 2s I had in my previous GT4. Seems to last longer as well.

Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 rated 100% while driving a Jaguar XFR
Driving on a combination of roads for 200 average miles
I have a 874bhp 923nm jaguar Xfr. I was lucky enough to be able to get hold of 4! 2x 265/35/20 front and 295/30/20 rear.
It is unequivocally the BEST UUHP tire in fact ANY tire I have EVER driven on. Highly recommended 110%!! THANK YOU MICHELIN!!!!!!

Kumho Ecsta Sport S rated 82% while driving a BMW M4
Driving on mostly motorways for 500 spirited miles
I was looking for a lower price tire to change my old Michelin PSS’s. If you buy the S version the TWI is 260. On dry road feels good, grippy enough, i dont know how’s it in the wet, i don’t drive when it’s raining. It has pretty stiff sidewalls, a PS4S is much more comfy. But the road feedback is good, handling is fast and responsive. tread depth is around 7MM new.
TBH im a Michelin fan, but at this price… it is one of the best tires. Sidewalls are good looking, almost Michelin satin like texture. They don’t look cheap.
(I was able to get the set of 4 for $700)

Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3 rated 80% while driving a BMW M3
Driving on a combination of roads for 4500 spirited miles
2023 BMW M3c xDrive, used to and from the track, HPDE. 1400 miles on the track, i'm an intermediate driver. Barber Motorsport Park, Virginia International raceway, Summit Raceway... big tracks, lots of loading and braking. So much better wear than PS4S* . More direct turn in, very consistent throughout the session, 4 per day, 30 minutes each, 8 days and no cording yet, but close. Very curious how it will compare to the new continentals... or Cup2 (240). on the BMW, heavy 4 door sedan, running them 42 /44 psi hot, 157 degree F. Mo rolling over on the tire sidewalls, high grip lap after lap with no surprises, never greasy at the end of the session like the PS4S*.... Most likely Ill be buying them again unless the PS5S comes out in my size...

Pirelli P Zero rated 50% while driving a Aston Martin db9
Driving on a combination of roads for 7000 average miles
I have had these on a few high performance cars when i bought them and i change them almost immediately. They are so noisy and give really poor ride quality. Rubbish grip when cold also. Terrible for the money.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S rated 77% while driving a Jaguar S type 3.0
Driving on a combination of roads for 1500 spirited miles
These came fitted to the car when i bought it 2nd hand with about 2,000 miles done on them already. My previous car had the OE spec Dunlop Sports Maxx and these are a complete revelation. took me a good 200 miles to trust the grip they offered in the damp over the Dunlops which had me driving very cautiously ...not a bad thing but also not relaxing. The PS4s just does things without any hint of understeer or sudden tail slides under power. Ride comfort is better even when the car has stiffer suspension than the previous car and cabin noise is down a bit as well. Only negative i've sensed was a little tramlining under heavy breaking and a much smaller rim protector. They aren't a cheap tire but for high power cars i can definitely understand the reputation these have gained. 550hp has never felt so easy to get down .

Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport rated 80% while driving a Porsche 991 C2S
Driving on a combination of roads for 200 spirited miles
Just had my first proper blast with the new Goodyear F1 SuperSport tires on my Porsche 991 C2S

Off the line - it’s like being shot out of a cannon......

Grip around high speed bends is ridiculous.... got to push so much harder it still wouldn’t break away, balance of the car is so much more improved.

Continental WinterContact TS 860 S rated 90% while driving a BMW M5

Tremendous winter tire. Been driving in deep snow, ice, and they just grip for days.

Toyo Proxes 4 Plus rated 85% while driving a Porsche 991 Carrera S Cabriolet
Driving on mostly country roads for 100 average miles
Just bought a set for a Porsche 911 Carrera S 991.
All season to get me through the winter.
Comfort and quiet far exceed the PZeros and SottoZeros I previously had.
They are Y rated for the rear 295/30R20s and W rated for the front 245/35R20s.
They look good, very similar to PZeros.
And they are less expensive than PZeros.
Only have about 60 miles on them in the wet and dry.
So far so good.
Very cold the next two days. Will update.

Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 rated 55% while driving a Aston Martin DB7 Vantage
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
At 10c in UK december, these offer very poor dry and wet grip compared to a summer tire. Comfort levels are decent though. The V12 DB11 just has too much power, it's constantly on TC and braking distances are increased

Pirelli Sottozero Serie II rated 93% while driving a Porsche 991 Carrera S Cabriolet
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
Follow up to 1000 mile review.
Have now driven over 5000 miles.
Driving in temperatures up to 100 degrees F.
Tires perform wonderfully.
They run relatively cool on 100 + degrees F highways.
Wearing evenly and not showing any signs of excessive wear.
Working fine as an all season tire.
I run them one pound under the TPMS recommended inflation pressure for Winter tires under full load.
Slight grip loss at 0.98 G on the Porsche G forces gauge. On dry pavement.
