Given 74% while driving a BMW 320i (205/60 R15 V) on a combination of roads for 43,000 average miles
Bought Touring 320i with new set on front. Mixed motoring includes hard monthly trip to Dutch border with full car. Tires are a bit noisy, especially on motorway concrete. Have covered over 43k and the traditional BMW edge feathering issue has finally taken its toll (changing pressures does not have any effect). Very impressed with their value for money and 'middle of the road' performance. Will buy again.

Given 81% while driving a Ford Focus C Max (225/45 R17 W) on mostly town for 1,000 average miles
I bought these having previously had Dunlop SP Sport FastResponse all round. Hardly any difference except in price and wear, the Accelera's wearing much better particularly on the front.
They kind of feel like they roll slightly on the rims but I guess thats down to the rim protector on the tire.
All in all for an average Joe who does mostly town miles and drives sensibly these are perfectly good.

Given 87% while driving a Toyota Previa (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 3,500 spirited miles
This is my second review after a few months of daily driving. I've got used to them in dry, wet and snowy conditions now, and I'm a very happy bunny. You can feel the front shoulders biting in on fast corners, and there's enough feedback to tell you what is happening. The wear is even, the graining I highlighted previously has stopped, (there is some sholder wear), but the rears have hardly worn at all. At some point I'll do a wheel rotation, as the rears are slightly newer anyway. I can't believe some guy tried taking his SLK around Stowe on some track day or other shod with these (not clear if he didn't even mix his tires front and back!) and then gave something like a 38% rating - these tires are are fast and dependable but not exactly racing rubber. During the recent snow, I was able to have some fun on a private road however, and tested the grip to the limit - something I hadn't been able to do on the public highway. I could tell exactly what was happening at the wheels all the time - impressed! On a recent motorway run, I did another MPG check, and I'm still getting around 30 mpg - which is a good 7 mpg more than I've ever squeezed out before fitting these 4 Alphas. These tires get my vote.

Given 84% while driving a Volvo V70 2.4T (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 25,000 easy going miles
Unlike everybody else who seems to comment on here, I am not boy (or girl) racing / off-roading / towing, just normal everyday driving, 100 miles per day, most of it motorway.
In these circumstances, these tires have been excellent. I have driven through all conditions over the last 12 months -- snow, torrential rain, blistering heat, and I have never felt anything other than completely safe.
For all the "specialist" types of driving I suspect you will need specialist tires, but for "normal" day to day driving, which the vast majority of the driving population does, thses tires are an excellent choice, and represent serious value for money.

Given 77% while driving a Mercedes Benz S320 (255/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
I reluctantly changed my front set to these on a Mercedes S class, no big difference to the Continentals I had, subsequently changed my rear set as well. I now have a full set of 4 and they are just as good as the big brands for normal everyday driving.

To update my review from a few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to put these tires through their paces on a freshly snow covered road. The traction was actually very good compared to what I've driven before. Obviously they don't react like a Hakka or Hercules in the snow, but they handled the task wonderfully. I attempted to spin out in an empty parking lot and had to grab handbrake to get the wheels to break loose.

Where do I start. If you value your life DO NOT BUY THESE TYRES. I have these on a mini cooper and believe me, they are awful. I bought the car with them on. I am now looking to change them. I have managed to spin the car twice in the wet. I am a bit of a girl racer and like to drive quickly. I have been driving for 21 years and have never experienced tires like them. Look at something else, these should not be used if you want grip in the wet, I have to take corners and roundabouts like my gran!!!

Clearly a lot of reviews from people who probably never check to ensure their tires are at optimum pressure for their vehicle/temperature/driving conditions. I fitted these tires on my Subaru Impreza Wagon and an very pleased with the performance for the price. Granted my suspension is set up for optimum handling and very little body roll, but I have yet to have any sort of traction loss outside of heavy breaking in slick conditions. I have had the tires chirping going through a 25mph corner at nearly 60 and never felt any understeer or slippage whatsoever.

My only complaint would be how noisy the tires are. Between them and the drone of my exhaust at highway speeds, I'm glad to have a nice stereo in the car.

Some cheapscape bought these tires for the car I then bought! driving round Silverstone(Stowe) circuit in the Wet and then dry proved how useless they are. They were fitted on the back and the traction control came on all the time as the back slid out badly in the wet and also dry. They also spin up under moderate acceleration in the wet.
I would rate these tires as dangerous on a powerful car.

very impressed with these tires. anyone who complains about poor grip in the wet should remember that they are BUDGET TYRES! A set of 4 fully fitted cost me £209 last april compared to £400+ for michelins, continental etc. In 7 months they have hardly worn at all and still look like new. Ok, so they aren't the best in the wet, but at £52 each compared to £100+ they are great value for money, and I would gladly buy them again

Given 77% while driving a Land Rover freelander (225/55 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Inherited a front set of brand new Accelera Alphas when I bought my Freelander 8 months ago and was forced to replace a set of very old rear Michelin's with the same tire type. I'm glad I did because on the Freelander there seems to be little penalty in using a tire that costs almost a quarter of the recommended Pirellis. The tires are quiet and handle dry weather to the limit of the car. Having travelled through some miserable weather this autumn I was expecting poor results in the wet but have not witnessed any unusual or enexpected traits and surprisingly they work much better offroad than I've any right to expect. I would definitely buy them again for this car.
