Given 80% while driving a Kawasaki zx12r (200/50 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 2,600 spirited miles
fitted these to a 2001 zx 12r .. cant find anything bad to say . down to wear indicators on front and rear , 2600 miles . had great grip and feedback both wet and dry . did have a couple of rear slides but had to provoke them . performed very well on such a heavy bike with big bhp . i would say if used on lighter machines they may take a little warming up . just fitting second pair so , i must be happy

I got these recommended from a racer. Tried them on my z750s left them on until the wear bars were showing. You need to warm these up to get them to work. Note extra care to be taken in the wet don't expect them to be grippy in the wert if you have not warmed them up. Trying a different set but if I don't like them i will be straight back to these. PS i am no straight line rider, had the rear ruffed up to the edge of both sides of the tires.

Given 56% while driving a Yamaha R1 (190/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 3,000 spirited miles
These are possibly the scariest tires i have ever ridden on an R1 in the wet, the front tire twitches and slides at the slightest mark in the tarmac and the rear spins up at half lean even in 4th. In the dry, they are fairly nuetral but again the front does not inspire confidence and slids easily when pushed. Breaking hard into a corner is well dodgy and hard throttle through bumpy corners requires some serious arm muscle to hang on to the steering. Wear is incredible, they seem to last forever. I will not be fitting these again for the sake of my underpants if nothing else.

I totally disagree with the other reveiw of these & i have the same bike. They have awesome grip in both the wet & dry. Get some heat in them & you can be very agressive in the wet with the throttle & it's not hard to get them hot they heat up very quickly. In the dry they just seem to have limitless grip. They are very stable at high speed & turn in & mid turn, you can get on the throttle ridiculously early.
They stear slightly slower than other sports tires which makes them perfect for the road. You get very fue tank slappers & you have to be doing something realy silly to get one
But they wear very quickly i only got 600 Miles out of the rear tire before it was very worn out.
I don't do track days or stunting, just fast road

These tires are just the job in the dry if you like to give the throttle a good twist. Be a lot more careful in the wet though as they don't seem to warm up very well which can cause the back end to step out unexpectedly. Wear of the tire is as good as i've seen in tires with 2000 miles done, loads of treat left, great feedback from the road, although i'm having to replace my rear tire today as it's got a large screw deep into the cut out tread. Not used them on the track so won't comment. Overall, a good tire for the money but requires care in the wet.
