Given 19% while driving a Volkswagen Golf 7 TDI (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 10,000 easy going miles
we purchased the car from Car shop Swindon, who replaced the front tires before we purchased.
I always fit premium tires to my car over the years (only thing between you and the road) but recently the tire hit the kerb and split the side wall.
on inspection we found like many others the cracking in the tire surface.
the noise has been horrendous and ride very poor I would never buy again and indeed we are replacing the other tire.

if you love your family and wish to keep them safe replace the tires.

Was told these were great tires from national tire centers. So for £150 I had a pair fitted. Didnt reallythink much about them. Seemed ok for the first 6 months with good grip and wear. Last year it all changed with what we thought was 2 wheel bearings going. On checking nothing was wrong with the bearings. Still kept going with the tires. The grip then started to go from these tires. In the dry the compounds too hard with no flex in the tire wall at all. In the wet you just aquaplane in the smallest puddle and cornering was an issue. One tire started to not hold air and on inspection it yad cracks all over the block pattern on the grip on the tire. They were way over the range of noise of 72db. More over 90db with a noise like a plane taking off. They juddered the front when hard braking and just made the ride awful. Today i swapped these tires for soms goodrides and on removal of the wheels half the grip was missing off the inside edges of the tire. Cracking all over the tire base. Andthe tire fitter noticed both tires were completley out of shape. 5mm of tread left from 20k motoring. Would never buy these death traps again. Lesson learnt.

Given 21% while driving a Mitsubishi Colt version R (225/40 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
Bought a set of alloys with these on brand new. Coming off and being replaced with decent tires. Road noise terrible, can't hold a conversation properly and sounds like a bearing gone. Massive under steer in wet conditions just goes in a straight line. Seriously don't bother with these tires. Are ok in normal straight line driving conditions! Not been on long enough to see what the wear is like. Definitely wouldn't have them again. Had michelins on before and the car drove beautifully, these affect the handling and its like driving a different car. Roll on payday!!

Ford (225/40 R17 W) on for 500 average miles
Utter utter garbage... if there was a minus rating for Noise these excuses for tires would be off the scale. Zero confidence in damp or wet, the road noise is apalling. Who sanctions these tires as fit for use?? They were on when I got the car, lasted two weeks, they can now be used for kids adventure park swings...

Fiat (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 100 easy going miles
I have had these tires for 2 days, they came with the car. I would be changing them now but there are other jobs i need to do on the car first ie cambelt and a full service. 2 months max and these tires are off my car. They are so noisy it's unbelievable tires can be this bad. The noise is like all the wheel bearings have gone and you have a loud exhaust. For now i have to drive around like a young teanager with my music on full blast to help dround out the noise from the tires.
Do not buy these tires save a bit more and buy a well known branded tire. You really do get what you pay for.

Given 36% while driving a Honda Civic Type R (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 100 average miles
Just bought a 2nd hand Civic Type R. Before buying I check for tread depth. Excellent. It's not until about 100 miles later I thought this doesnt handle as I expect, especially in the cold and wet. It could be the type of car but I just checked the tire brand and then came here. Everything is explained. This car is supposed to handle like a go-kart, but in the wet it is just washing out at the front end - without any power applied. The roads are slippery, leafy, wet and cold at the moment, bring better dry roads are I'll review summer performance. Until then I think I shall walk.
