Hate it.

Reading all these reviews im a bit confused. Im wondering if some people have fake or out of date tires. Some people are saying this tire is hard and has no grip...and as it wears looses grip...and is too harsh and doesnt perform in snow...this tire has a 140 treadware it is a super soft summer tire...is so soft i the tire picks up all tiny grains of sediment off the roads and when i park my car i can see it all stuck to my tires. ive have had it on multiple cars now all modified fwd turbo which are difficult to get grip and these tires hold more slip ange into corners under throttle than any other full street tire ive had in the dry they grip like crazy excellent feel nd grip great in the wet as well. You need to play with tire pressures once you have the correct tire pressure its fantastic. Do not overinflate i usually use about 34psi. As this tire wears close to the wear bars it grips more aggressive. This is a performance sports summer tire...there will always be compromises for a performance tire and usually comfort, noise, wear cold grip are the consequences of that. Definitely takes longer to warm up in cold rainy weather. Definitely does not last long 45,000km on a full rotated set and i just ordered another set of re050a.j

I did 57,000 KM (35,500 miles) on a set of these tires before they were due to be replaced. My car is a heavy car (nearly 2 tonnes) and was advised to expect 20,000 to 25,000 KM from them. At 30,000 KM they were still going strong. I had them rotated and balanced every 5,000 KM since day 1 which i think made a huge difference to their longevity. Tire pressure was a constant 37psi for the whole of this time and the tires were filled with nitrogen gas from day 1.
These tires did the job. Not the best I have ever had, but with a bit of care they were made to work. The car is capable to doing 0 to 100 KPH (60 MPH) in 5.2 seconds and i did not always take it easy with the driving.
Tire wear was even on all 4 wheels.

I absolutely hate these tires. What a waste of my hard earned money.

I did do a little research before buying theses tires and must admit that most of them weren’t good. But I chose to ignore them and thought maybe they are one of statements out of millions of customer. I thought I would play it safe and by buying runflat tires for my BMW 530i (272hp) and buy tires that Blackcircles has BMW recommend/approved logo on it, but boy was I wrong.

Only my two rear tires needed replacing, but I thought I would change all four tires to up the performance and handling, so that all four tires would be in synchronous harmony. But this is now the biggest regret in my life.

Theses tires are shocking, I have no corner confidence now, they are extremely loud, they tram line, extremely hard ride and have no give what so ever. They also very very bad when the tires are cold.

And I am confident it is not a problem with my car, as my car handle extremely well before and all four tires had even wear across them, which means tracking and wheel alignment was fine.

Avoid at all costs.

Good at wet conditions as same as dry conditions.

do not think to buy again.

When new these tires might be considered decent but on a 400hp car they are no way sufficient. After 3000 kms the grip levels fall off dramatically even though the tread looks good. Touch the throttle around corners or try high speed corners and the traction control goes wild and cuts in.
I dont bother driving the car in the wet. I have to use 2nd gear to get away and wont go over 2500 RPM. ITs like driving on wheels of cheese

I still have between 30 and 40 percent left on the tires. They've worn quite well. Wet performance has been okay. Slight hydroplaning during heavy rains, but not too bad. My issue has been their propensity to understeer when pushed hard through faster corners. Wheelspin on takeoff is also an issue. will be changing to Bridgestone Adrenilin RE002/3s next.

All-round excellent tires. Bought these by accident and they're the best tires I've used to date on my car. Dry grip is phenomenal- when trying to powerslide,the tires grip and the clutch spins. There is only one other tire I've had that can manage that.

Wet grip is also very, very good. Road noise is ok, wear rate pretty good. They managed a full trip to Nurburgring plus a few laps at max attack, and still had tonnes of life in them.

Would definitely buy again.

Good grip on dry but in wet it doesnt have the grip for a sport driving.

Don't buy this tire. Noisy, hopeless in snow. The fronts wore out quickly and the rears went out of shape. Very disappointing for a premium brand.

Standard fitment runflats on my BMW 335i. A Truly horrible tire in anything other than perfect conditions. 3 cracked alloy wheels at different times due to the hardness of the tire, and they don't seem to be wearing. Probably due to the fact they are like a castor rather than a tire. Downright dangerous in the wet and it's impossible to put any sort of power down without spinning them up.

Avoid like the plague. I'll be moving to Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires soon as I've had them on a previous car. I suggest you do the same!

My car is still running the same 4 original tires that were fitted to it at the VW factory in December 2006. The car has now done 29,600 miles and the tires are starting to look like they could do with getting changed (they were rotated front to back three years ago). I sometimes find them a bit noisier than I would like and they don't like rough tarmac very much as they throw up a lot of vibration into the cabin, but as I've never had other tires on the car I can't compare with other tires.

Wear has been excellent though thanks to four-wheel drive on the car and a light right foot on my part. Not sure whether to play safe and replace with the same again or maybe go for Michelin PS3's or PSS's. All in all though, a decent tire despite not being the newest on the market.
