Given 81% while driving a Nissan Livina (195/65 R15 V) on a combination of roads for 65 spirited miles
Car is 7 seater multi-purpose vehicle driven in a tropical country (sunny this morning, rainy on the afternoon). Noticed a dramatic improvement on Dry Grip from the replaced tire yokohama aspec A300 which tends to spin on inclined parking egress. Wet Grip also improved, no break-away even at 100 km/h. Not willing to push to the limit though. Comfort is better, less road noise even on old asphalts.

Only complain is the soft sidewalls, notice a bit of body roll. My solution was to put a little more air (well within the max tire pressure, and within my car's specs). Cannot say about treadwear, tire only saw 3000 km as of this writing with minimal to no observable wear yet. I drive 60km total every day for 5 days a week on a paved road.

60,000 km out of the set of 4 tires,
thats good, counting that there is so much grip in comparing to budget brands.

Grande adhérence sur routes sèches, adhérence acceptable sur le mouillé mais avec un côté négatif pour l'usure.

Grands pneus ... si vous voulez des pneus qui vous permettront de pousser votre voiture à la limite, c'est certainement un choix solide. Cependant il y a un inconvénient ... l'usure de ces pneus est astronomique ... je doute que je vais faire 8.000 miles avec la paire avant. Je ne me plains pas car je conduis vraiment dur, mais si vous échangez les pneus pour rester dans le légal et que vous refaites la même chose alors vous ferez mieux de regarder ailleurs. Toutefois, si vous voulez un bon jeu de pneus qui vous garde sur la route pendant que vous poussez votre voiture à la limite, c'est définitivement un bon choix.

Je n'en reprendrai pas à nouveau car je suis prêt à conduire plus lentement pour une usure plus lente ... mais je classe ces pneus très haut ... de sorte que le choix vous appartient ... ils s'usent TRÈS vite si vous conduisez rudement..., vous êtes avertis.

J'ai acheté une nouvelle octavia skoda en mars dernier, il y a 6 mois.
les pneus ont été montés en usine.
concernant la tenue de route, ce sont certainement des pneus de performance orientés pour le segment des berlines familiales: adhérence parmi les meilleurs, virages parmi les meilleurs, la direction est superbe, et dans l'habitacle le niveau de bruit est moyen et bien acceptable pour cette gamme.
pas étonnant que lors de tests indépendants, ces pneus sont toujours classés entre 3e et 1er.
ce que je ne comprends pas c'est le nombre de gens qui se plaignent de l'usure, alors que mes pneus de 7000 kms (6 mois) semblent encore neufs! le fil n'a pas perdu même 1 mm d'épaisseur à l'avant!
cela me conduit à croire que ceux qui se plaignent ici d'usure, sont soit des conducteurs qui conduisent mal - gaspillant ainsi du carburant pour des accélérations inutiles et après des tonnes de freinage parce qu'ils n'ont jamais appris à lever le pied longtemps avant un croisement , alors qu'ils pensent qu'ils sont des conducteurs normaux, mais en réalité ils sont «pilotes de course" sur la voie publique toute la journée. du coup leur géométrie d'alignement des roues est flingué.
pour information:
j'arrive avec une "conduite prudente" à environ 20 km par litre en dehors de la ville à 100 km par heure l, et à 14 km par litre en ville, permettez-moi de vous rappeler que c'est un moteur essence - pas un diesel.
en conduisant comme ça, les pneus ne supportent pas d'efforts inutiles et le résultat est que les pneus ne s'usent pas - point.
en conclusion: ceux qui se plaignent de l'usure, il faut d'abord apprendre à conduire prudemment et écologiquement. et aussi vérifier la géométrie d'alignement des roues.
accélérer comme un dingue et freiner tout autant à chaque virage ou feu rouge va tuer votre consommation de carburant, tuer vos freins, et tuer vos pneus - physique élémentaire.
avant de se plaindre de l'usure, penser à quel point cela est dû à votre habitude de conduite inexpérimentée, ou votre manque de connaissances mécaniques dans le domaine automobile.
les continental contact premium 5 sont à ce jour parmi les meilleurs pneus que j'ai jamais conduit au cours des 20 dernières années.

Given 36% while driving a Audi A6 Avant 2.7T Quattro (235/55 R17) on mostly town for 400 easy going miles
Very noisy at temperatures below +15C. Tires started to squeak at 75 km/h (46 mp/h) in an not hard turn at +28C in dry conditions and that was really surprising. In wet (rain) lost contact on braking for 2 seconds - really scarry. Bought them because of the reviews here. Really dissapointed, ok it's not a sporty tire but where is premium class - it's noisy even when warm!

Great tires... if you want tires that will let you push your car to the limit then these are definitely a solid choice. However there is a draw back... the wear on these tires is astronomical... I doubt I'll get 8,000 miles out of the front pair. Not a complaint as I drive it hard but if you only swap your tires to stay legal and resent the process then you'd be best looking elsewhere. However if you want a good set of tires that will keep you on the road whilst you push your car to the limit then these are defiantly a good choice.

I won't be getting them again as I'm willing to drive slower for longer wear... but I still rate these tires very highly... so the choice is yours... they wear VERY fast if you drive hard... you have been warned.

Very comfortable tire, no noise up to 130kmph and good grip. The worse is that it ends too fast (comparing to bridgestone er300).

It is strange but there is one road (M02 in Ukraine ) that causes tires to produce loud noise (caused by resonance I suppose). The most strange is that road surface is straight and smooth so there is nothing (from my point of view) that can explain this noise.

I just bought this to replace year-old Goodyear Excellence tires on my car. Not that the Excellence was bad, I just wanted better wet grip capabilities. Haven't tested the wet grip yet, not that I want to, but the dry drip seems to be good. No more screeching sound when I make turns in indoor carparks with those smooth flooring (screeching = tires are slipping).

First thing I noticed was that the ContiPremiumContact5 is significantly lighter than the Excellence, when I handled them personally at the tire shop. There's less rubber in the CPC5 probably for eco reasons and fittingly the sidewalls are softer than the Excellence and the Energy XM2 (tried pressing the XM2's on a neighbour's car) - I will have to be extra careful not to bump into curbs or potholes with the CPC5. On the plus side, the cabin noise level is much less now, so much so I can now hear the air buffeting from my side-view mirrors which were masked by the road noise from the previous tires.

Fuel-consumption-wise, though I have no FC numbers yet, I do feel that the CPC5 is more of a petrol guzzler than the Excellence despite both having the EU rating of 'C' for FC. My car now slows down noticeably faster than with the Excellence when I let go of the petrol pedal - I can only attribute this to higher rolling resistance.

I'll update my review again in a year's time once I have clocked a more significant mileage with these tires than just the 300km so far.

Very good tire in dry and wet, comfortable and relatively quiet.

The wear rate is just too high, for that reason I haven't bought again and opted for pilotsport 3's instead
