Given 93% while driving a BMW 640d (275/30 R20 W) on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
Just swapped a full set of Bridgestone potenza re050 for these tires on my 640d and am really impressed, they have transformed the car, really quiet, superb wet and dry grip and have taken the harshness out of the ride, would definitely buy again.

Now completed just over 10,000 miles in e220cdi. Live close to a55 and speeds are often between 50 and 70. Front tire are now just below 70ml and the rears at 6.4. So will expect 30,000 miles off them. Comfort has been very good with road noise levels reduced dramatically against my Continentals (these gave me almost 30k too) So, with the more favourable cost I shall use again unless wear suddenly increases!!

Good grip in dry and wet. Predictable handling, very posituve turn-in. Very quiet tires. Too early to tell yet about the wear life.

Given 40% while driving a Vauxhall Corsa vxr (225/35 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 5,000 spirited miles
These tires came fitted to the car when we bought it, all 4 brand new had been fitted by the garage before we collected car.

I was concerned as I had never heard of the brand but did not want to replace brand new tires so thought I would give them a go.

tires were ok at first dry and wet grip were reasonable although not amazing. But after a few months the tires went downhill fast, dry grip became no better than average and wet grip was downright dangerous.

Front wheels spin up when pulling away from junctions even in the dry and handling at any speed over 40mph is poor. In the wet the tires are just plain dangerous, front wheels spin up and send the traction control crazy even on the slightest use of the throttle and the car aquaplains at speed regularly, it's like trying to drive on ice.

After 2 almost accidents due to aquaplaining and the car being completely out of control in the wet the tires were removed as I considered them dangerous, fronts still had around 5mm of tread rears around 7mm. They were replaced with Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric 3 tires all round and these tires even after 6 months of spirited driving are still providing excellent grip in both dry and wet, just shows how bad the davanti tires really are.

Worst tires I have ever had fitted to a car, average at best in dry and dangerous in the wet. Do not buy.

Given 90% while driving a Alfa Romeo MiTo (225/40 R18 V) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Was really looking for a summer tire to get me through the upcoming MOT. Davanti were a new one on me but the local tire shop raved about them, and the price was very good. I was well impressed with the grip levels in the dry and wet. I have to say having chosen the likes of Falken a few years back on another Alfa, I was expecting similar budget to mid-range tires to be just OK, but the Davanti's have really surprised me. I'm a little bit perplexed by an earlier review by another Mito owner with the same tire size, saying they feel like they're coated in lard ... I have no idea what was going on with his car, cos nothing could be further from the truth on mine! Reserving judgement on long term use as I've only done around 5K so far. One minor issue, the rim protection is a bit weak. The wife scraped a curb recently (grr) and the rim protection just sliced away like cheese - no protection at all it seems ... sigh!

Bought them with scepticism but turns out this tires are the best spent money on my car. I am impressed with the low noise and grip (glued to the road). When searching for new tires I looked for soft tires that will make my ride comfortable and these tires do. I recommend them if you are looking for soft and quite tires

Given 77% while driving a MINI Cooper S (205/45 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
So far I don't really have any complaints. Incredibly quiet tires for the performance you get out of them. Stick like glue to the road wet or dry.
Sure you can force them loose if you're throw them in expecting racing slick grip levels but that says more about the driver than it does the tire itself in my opinion.
Would definitely recommend especially if you're on a budget.
Not been driving on them long enough to see how they wear so I'll have to see as time progresses.

Put these on in place of Pirelli as they didn't even last a year and the car was all of the show when there was even the site of a rain cloud. A friend had them on his A4 and rated them. I'm well impressed with them, had bridgestone and Pirelli on the car since I bought it and these are the best so far. Pirelli were a massive waste of money. For the price I'd recommend will get another set

Given 61% while driving a Mercedes Benz C220 cdi (225/50 R17) on mostly motorways for 0 average miles
Hi, I'm no expert so here goes. The four 225/50/r17 seem to run well on my recently bought Merc 220, however I have 1 problem in that with tires still having substantial tread on them I was a bit surprised that within 2 hours of parking on my drive on top of a light dusting (10mm) snow it had slid approximately 3m and hit the front wall...I'f the wall had not been there it would of been on the main road. Back offside bumper now in need of repair. It's not a steep drive either...probably 1:20...when I took it off the drive for safety and parked in on the roadside I couldn't pull off or go up or down the slight hill (with about 10mm compacted snow). I had to leave the car their for 36 hours till the roads improved while watching every other car imaginable drive up and down the hill with little or no effort. so really looking to change these out now as I work away and can't afford to get caught on the motorway while snowing with these tires as I don't think I would survive...and I really mean that...never had a problem with my old Puegeot 407 slipping down the drive on Pirelli's ...beware

Given 97% while driving a Mercedes Benz 220 cdi advantgarde (245/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 5,140 average miles
Mercedese220cdi back again after 5140 miles in 5 months averaging between 50 and 70 mph on A 55. Wear has been very even and all tires are now on 7mm. Without doubt they are the quietest tires I have ever purchased and although the weather has been pleasant (no snow or ice yet!) I would purchase again unless there is a massive deterioration over the next 5000 miles or so.

Given 17% while driving a Alfa Romeo MiTo (215/40 R18 W) on mostly town for 4,000 spirited miles
Can only imagine that these tires were cheap or were on offer when a full set of four was fitted to my car by the previous owner.
Grip in the dry is poor, grip in the wet is even worse. They tires really excel on cold damp roads where the feeling that someone has let the tires down and smeared them in lard is somewhat exciting. Nothing beats the feeling of under steering around every corner you point them at.
When they finally do grip, the flex in the side walls is impressive as is the de-lamination of the outer layers rubber.

In about 4000 miles the fronts were shot (I’ve swapped them out for another brand) and in an attempt to shorten the misery I’ve put the other Davanti’s on the front.
