Terrible. Starting driving 12 months ago, car came with these tires and they are terrible. In the rain, it is like being on ice, any corner theres sideways slide, even as low as 15mph on a roundabout, in the summer, slight power to the accelerator and they are spinning with lack of dry grip. Within 12 months I have lost over 50% of the tire tread and done 12k miles. NEVER AGAIN

Definitely the worst tires I have ever used. Wear is about 10 k. Never felt as good as the Goodyear efficient grip performance which I had before.

Don't expect a tire with sharp steering and tons of stability. It is a premium, high-performance touring tire. Previously I had Continental premium contact 6 and Bridgestone Potenza sport, the Ultrac is superior to the other two for lateral grip and road holding, especially in the wet even at cooler temperatures. Safe and quality rubber, the only flaw is the rather rapid wear. I managed to drive on a wet road cornering at over 150-160kmh, very safe even for aquaplaning.

I come from Bridgestone Potenza Sport, as soon as I fitted them I immediately noticed less noise, less nervousness in the steering, more comfort and lighter, more manageable steering. I will update my review in a few weeks.

Terrible ditch finders .where on the car when I brought it and only on the rear axel. Found the tail of the car getting out of shape sixty mph on a section of the A6 where I live I could feel myself sliding towards the kirb. Shocking how anyone would put these on a warm hatchback let alone how they get away with selling them for the UK market replaced with michelin-tires feels so much safer

So far so good. 2000km in various conditions and no problem at all from -10c to 15c degrees. On snowy/icy roads superb performances without any problem. Not noisy at all until 120km, after that little noisy but nothing to bother. Can't wait to test them in summer conditions. If they are good in summer as in winter, then definitely best price/performance all season tire.

Bought tires January 2021. Drives mostly in mid and northern Sweden. My tires has rivets and has a good grip on hard snow and ice. Run in of tires is necessary plugging rivets firmly. Noise is humming at all speeds as expected. Winter roads not covered by ice or snow requires traditional winter driving style. Driving on snow is easier than ice and could be done forced with a relaxed driving style, more similar to warm weather driving on summer tires. In short these tires behave better than non-riveted winter tires. This far I've only driven these tires at temperatures below -7⁰C.

Writing about the Bridgestone Weather Control A005 given 64% (225-45-17-W)

I have bittersweet thoughts about this tire (Peugeot 308 II series):

POSITIVES:
- Dry and wet handling and grip, both in the summer and winter (up to 38°C in the summer and down to -7°C in the winter).
- Price compared to competition, 225 45 17's cost me 85€ per tire (Italy).
- Comfort is very good, pretty silent for 4s tires and the general driving comfort is good.
- Road feedback is good, feels like a summer tire in warm weather and in the winter (dry and wet) I always feel safe.

NEGATIVES:
- Snow handling and grip, just TERRIBLE. I know that these are 4s tires and not winter tires so I wasn't expecting them to perform as the latter, but as soon as there is a minimal amount of snow on the road you start to feel unsafe. When the road is flat they perform better than a summer tire, but you really need to slow down (1st or 2nd gear) and watch you driving. When the road starts going uphill or downhill is where they throw in the towel, almost NO grip and handling is reaaaally sketchy.

I can't really say much about the wear, I'm up to 18'000km and for now it looks to be normal.

Would I buy them again? Absolutely not! As I said above, I know these are not winter tires and I cannot expect them to perform as such, but the idea behind this model is that you should feel relatively safe when the conditions get a bit rough (and that's what the ads publicize), and in a couple of occasions I really feared for my safety and believe me, the weather was far from being anywhere nearto a snow storm/blizzard like.

If you are absolutely sure you won't be driving on snow, or if you have other options in case it snows, then I would recommend this tire, otherwise try with another model/brand.

I have just fitted all four tires on my peugeot 308. Very very comfort and quiet. The road feedback is excellent as the continental. Gripping is good either in dry or wet road . The amazing is the rolling resistance - acceleration, steering, and gliding get Large improvements. I feel that my car becomes another different car which is easier to drive.
