  • Though it earns Excellent ratings on tests for braking on ice and handling on snow, and was deemed comfortable, this Dunlop sits at the bottom of the winter car tire pack for noise. It offers worse-than-average rolling resistance, which can degrade fuel economy.

Latest Dunlop Winter Maxx 2 Reviews

Given 66% while driving a Hyundai Sonata Ultimate 1.6t (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
They feel better and drive nicer than my previous winter tires on another car (Sailun Iceblazers on a focus), however the car’s front end power is a bit too much as soon as there is snow. Braking seems to be longer, especially if the snow isn’t sticky. They are good to use wherever as long as you’re driving softly and with ample grip available from the road surface. I’d say they are good value if you can find them for cheap, just a bit over the price of economy winter tires
