These came on my mum's Honda Jazz. They are notable for being the worst tires I have ever experienced with respect to braking and traction in the wet or damp. The braking distances were huge and the ABS triggered at absurdly low pedal pressure. I checked out the brakes but all was good. The problem was sorted when I got Yokohama Blu Earth tires fitted instead.
These tires are proof there are no decent controls on tires (E certification is meaningless) and that there is no short supply of fools who rejoice in saving a few pennies even if they later lose their lives due to the junk they buy.
Why do people spend thousands on cars then ruin them and negate safety features with cheap crap tires?
Never, ever fit Event tires. (A friend has similarly dangerous ones on his Vectra).
