Falken EUROALL SEASON AS210

The Falken EUROALL SEASON AS210 is a mid-range premium touring all-season tire that feels particularly confident in the wet, with many drivers praising its secure grip and easy, stable handling. It also earns strong value-for-money feedback, helped by reports of good comfort and long wear. The main trade-offs are efficiency and refinement: rolling resistance/fuel consumption is a common complaint and some cars see higher road noise.

The Falken EuroAll Season AS210 tire receives an overall satisfactory rating for driving safety. It shows weaknesses primarily on winter roads and narrowly misses a good rating on dry surfaces. However, it performs well on wet roads.

On dry surfaces, the tire offers satisfactory steering feedback with borderline good performance at the limit. Its braking distance is average. On wet roads, the Falken excels, scoring good ratings in all criteria including braking, aquaplaning resistance, and handling, with above-average performance and good reserves.

In winter conditions, the tire achieves only a satisfactory result. While it scores well in snow braking, its performance in traction and ice braking is satisfactory. However, its handling on snow is rated as merely adequate, with imprecise steering control and a narrow performance limit.

Environmentally, the Turkish-made Falken EuroAll Season AS210 receives a satisfactory rating. While its wear is rated as good, its projected mileage falls short. It scores well in efficiency due to low fuel consumption but has a slightly above-average weight. The tire is criticized for production residues on new tires, which unnecessarily impact the environment during initial use.

.
Proven brand profile with safe handling qualities on wet and dry roads, direct steering behavior, short snow braking distances, low price level.
Weak lateral guidance on snowy roads, limited safety reserves for aquaplaning, long dry braking distances.
7th/12
Good handling in the dry, short wet braking distances, good around the wet handling lap.
Extended dry braking, poor aquaplaning resistance, weaker in the snow, highest rolling resistance on test.
The Falken Euroall Season AS210 finished in 7th place. I liked this tire in the dry, even if it didn't give the most feedback, and it's wet performance was good, however it couldn't keep up in the snow and had the highest rolling resistance on test. Not a bad tire, but perhaps a tire more suited to a milder winter climate.

Given 84% while driving a BMW 530D (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 12,000 spirited miles
Impressive grip levels in wet and dry conditions. I live in the hills, where Winters can be very testing, so these tires are not only cheaper but also quality-designed, proving to be trustworthy in performance and feedback. Yes, my BMW behaves very well with them.

Given 81% while driving a Mazda CX7 (235/60 R18) on mostly motorways for 35,000 average miles
Compared to the previous Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons Gen 2, they are a small step back. Wet grip and wet grip are where the weaknesses are noticeable.
The snow grip is also lower but constant and predictable so just fine for normal driving. Aquaplaning resistance is high, even with snow slush on motorway they're secure and safe. In term of noise they are comparable to winter tires. Mainly used on the highway, wear is comparable to that of the Goodyear. All in all a good tire, cheaper than Goodyear and therefore with a little lower performances.

Given 81% while driving a Toyota Corolla (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 50,000 average miles
Bought 4 x Falken AS210 in September 2020. It's now April 2025, the tires have seen 50,000 miles of blacktop, been rotated twice per year and are now just under 3mm for all 4 tires.

These AS210s are a very decent tire for the type of car they would likely be fitted to, in this size at least. They cost me £61 each, which given their current mileage is really great value.

The sidewalls are quite high, so it's to be expected that they ride very comfortably. There's no tire roar from the aggressive tread pattern; quite the opposite - they're very quiet.

Grip in the wet and dry are equally confidence-inspiring. Despite pressing on in either of these weather conditions, I've not had any scary moments with loss of traction, understeer or oversteer. Just neutral handling whether driving on my own or with 5 people in the car.

These tires have seen plenty of snow. Never been in anything deeper than 6 inches. Never got stuck, either. Always a good amount of traction on offer in fresh snow whether starting or stopping.

Having said that, they do struggle to bite into polished/compacted snow. In these conditions it can make you yearn for a full winter tire.

So, the Falken AS210 is a tire I am way more impressed with than I expected to be. They've lasted a long time, been a fun tire to throw into corners on fast A&B roads or round roundabouts and have never failed to get me home in the hills of Lancashire when the roads have been covered in snow.

I thoroughly recommend them, especially if you need a tire to last a long time and be very good in all the weather conditions you'd see in the UK.

Latest Falken EUROALL SEASON AS210 Reviews

Given 82% while driving a Kia Motors ceed (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 7,000 average miles
I have driven the Falken EUROALL SEASON AS210 tires around 7000 km so far in summer and autumn conditions (it's 22.10.2024 today) and I can say that I am completely satisfied with the choice I made when buying these tires.
I paid 380 EUR to have them mounted (4 x 205/55 R16) and for this price I believe that you will have a hard time finding better value for money.
I had Michelin Cross Climate 2 before these for 59.000 km (swapped the front ones with new ones once during those km) and overall I didn't find any noticeable difference between the Falkens and the Michelins.
Dry grip is almost the same, wet grip is just a little bit better for the Falkens and high speed stability on the German Autobahn favors the Falkens in both dry and wet driving conditions, but only with a small advantage.
I didn't realize any noise difference between the 2 sets even at 180 km/h on the German Autobahn but I didn't measure the decibels, to be honest.
I have noticed a slight wear "advantage" for the front tires because my car is FWD, but nothing special because I don't race anyone from the traffic lights.
Overall, I would say that you can't go wrong with these Falken all season tires.

Given 74% while driving a Volkswagen Touran 2.0 TDI 170HP DSG (205/55 R16) on mostly motorways for 30,000 average miles
Better in standing water than previous Michelin Cross Climates but slightly noisier and initially much worse fuel consumption. Fuel consumption has stabilised as they have worn in and road noise isn’t intrusive.
They are better at handling deep standing water on motorways and I haven’t regretted the purchase in the 16 months I have owned them. Not had a chance at snow driving yet. Ride feels quite firm on them but they handle A road driving well. Wear is heavier than the previous Michelins but at 30k the fronts still have just over 3mm left and the rears slightly more.

Given 23% while driving a Honda Civic 1.8 VTEC Sport (225/40 R18) on mostly country roads for 2,000 average miles
Extremely disappointed by these tires considering it was a cheap budget Tire these are replacing. Worst road noise of any Tire I’ve ever owned! But the worst of it is the mpg, I lost a staggering 6mpg after fitting these tires! Taking straight off & buying something better

Given 87% while driving a Skoda (185/55 R15) on a combination of roads for 250 average miles
These tires do give a very comfortable ride, amazing grip in both the wet and dry, but they really are very noisy and have a very high rolling resistance, I would not recommend them for a low powered small car, and I would not buy them again.

Given 79% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 1.8t SportCombi (215/55 R16) on mostly town for 650 easy going miles
This is an initial review after 1000km / 650 miles. As my old Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 winter tires are past their life and my Michelin Primacy 4 summer tires have only one summer left in them, I have decided to take a chance with All-Season tires and these Falkens were my final selection after watching several Tire Reviews videos on Youtube.

+ I live in Lithuania where some winters get LOTS of snow, ice, and -20C temperatures and some winters are nothing more than a slightly colder Fall with minimal amounts of snow. This year (2022/2023 Winter), December was pretty brutal with heavy amounts of snow and ice, some of the worst conditions in the past 5 years. Fortunately, Falkens beat whatever nature threw at them. No problems driving through thick snow or pure ice, the car does not slide around and whenever I tried having some fun at the parking lots (purely for testing) the tires didn't let me do that, because whenever I tried to drift, at the very minimal sliding Falkens automatically "corrected" the car so I could describe this experience as driving on train tracks, safe and stable. In my 10 years of driving I have never had a better grip nor never did I feel as safe as I feel right now during winter.

+ In dry or wet conditions (October/November) tires feel as good, and they are very comfortable to drive (I do feel like they are better in comfort than Primacy 4, though are louder). The car drives smoothly like a cruise ship and remains super nimble when turning up the aggression.

- The weak point of these tires is fuel economy. If fuel economy is something you prioritize, I would recommend looking at other options. These tires have high rolling resistance so fuel consumption jumps quite a bit. In my experience, it jumped by 2-3 liters per 100km which is quite noticeable especially when you look at the dashboard. Worse than Hakkapeliitta R2 winters, and much worse than Primacy 4 summers.

In Lithuania, All-Season tires are still not recommended by the mass and are considered unsafe, especially in the brutal winter conditions we do get now and then, but these Falkens have their arguments as to why they are good. I've seen so many people driving with WINTER tires and struggling on pure ice or snow while my driving experience felt like driving an amphibious car.

Given 78% while driving a Daihatsu coure (165/70 R13) on mostly town for 5,000 average miles
Compared to Nokian Weatherproof tires it replaced it was a huge improvement in dry grip. The tires actually have more grip, than the construction can handle and the tires roll onto the sidewall under hard cornering, this is only an issue in the dry, but it is also the caused by 165/70 size, with extreme tall sidewall. But the breaking is super impressive, I drove it back to back in the wet with Michelin pilot Sport 2 tires on a Mercedes CLS 350 CDI and the little Daihatsu had a far superior braking performance, which surprised me. It is quiet until you start to push it, and is super comfortable.

Given 90% while driving a Mercedes Benz C180K Avantgarde (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 1,000 easy going miles
After installing falken on my second car (the first review was about a clio tourer), i state that these are the perfect tires for worn tarmac (you know, the one found in city centres). Dry grip is perfect from the first kilometre, so as wet grip. Nothing to complain about. Maybe the steering response is a bit vag, in contrast with the pilot sport 4. Tires performe great and do not need to be warmed up. The easily interventing and annoying ABS (and skidding) when braking with the pilots, is totally disapeard, and i finally enjoy my car, and feel safe again. Next time i will buy them again,(if they are still in production), but definitely i will not buy an ultra high performance tire again, as they never warm up in my routine trips (even though my car has the original sport pack with 4-cylinder callipers).

Renault Clio IV Sport Tourer 1.5 DCI (195/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 200 easy going miles
Although i have run only 300km on these tires, first impressions are excellent. Breaking response on dry but slippery- worn greek roads is impressive, so as steering response. On wet roads, they behave equally good. The tire is really quite, but so all new tires are. I will install them also at my second car (mercedes with a larger profile).

Given 91% while driving a Citroën C5 Aircross 1.5 BlueHDI 130 (225/55 R18) on a combination of roads for 2,000 easy going miles
I bought Falken EuroAll Season AS210 tires in November 2021 to use them as winter tires. The first impresion was that the tires was noisy compare to michelin primacy 4. In addition I noticed about +1 litre / 100km in fuel consumpion. But I think tsose facts are absolutly normal. Dry grip and handling is fine, haven’t noticed any negatives. The biggest advantage of that tires is that you will have not any problem on snow or ice. I drove them on 1inch of fresh snow, no problem. I drove them on 3 inches of icy snow, no problem. I drove them on icy road, no problem. I am impressed. I'm very happy with them, and would definitely buy them again (as winter tires).

Given 85% while driving a Ford Kuga (235/50 R18) on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
These tires replaced the Continental ContiSport 5 which were fitted as new on the car. So far all good, they offer good comfort and I have noticed a difference in road noise this far. I have mainly driven on Motorways in dry and wet conditions, no real noticeable extra or lower grip this far but the temperatures have been circa 19c. Interested to see how they perform as we go into Autumn and Winter here in the North West of England. Will add another review during November after the weather changes and the Winter element of the tire should start to out perform that of a Summer tire in lower temperature ranges.

Follow up to review of first set of Falken 210 AS 103v after 24k have found them to be very safe and made my ix35 very nice to drive all year round just replaced two rear wheels to day as down to 2mm and 3mm across tire with the same Falken 210AS 103v , Front have a good 4mm right across , so i will replace with Falken 210AS103 v after estimate 5k .more or sooner the tire are still a good price if you look around the tire shops . The wear is on low side on back wheels but we do tow caravan when we can . I have been very happy as the car just feels SO MUCH BETTER ALL YEAR.
