Given 100% while driving a BMW 320D M Sport (225/45 R17 V) on mostly town for 10,000 average miles
These tires are on the front off my car and they have been perfect, no issues with understeer, loud noise, amazing grip in the dry, wet, braking. For the price I paid for the front two, these have turned out to be a real Gem, cant wait to try out the FK453 or the ZE914's.

These are the worst directional tires I have ever purchased, and I have been driving on directional tires for over 25 years.
The road noise is terrible, been back to whom I purchased them from and they said I needed a wheel aligngement which I new was a load of rubbish but paid the money and had it done and of course no difference.
I will be taking these tires off and replacing them with Bridgestone tires which I have always used, thought I would save a bit by changing to Faulken tires never again they are RUBBISH....

Given 24% while driving a Mercedes Benz E350 (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 10,000 average miles
Had these fitted to an E350 as they seemed good value at the time. 3 months later and less than 10,000 miles and the rear are down to less than 2mm around the centre tread and Mercedes Dealer tells me they need to be replaced. I am not a boy racer but a family man who drives well in the limits in a car that is less than 3 years old, dealer maintained, even with tire pressure sensors, so can't understand how these tires could wear down so quickly. Value for money.....absolutely not. I could also comment on the road noise like others and also, they don't feel quite as grippy as the original tires that they replaced. Will not buy these again under any circumstances. AVOID......

Noisy and lethal in the wet. These were on a set of wheels I bought. Michelins on the front highlight how appaling these tires really are.

Given 66% while driving a SEAT EXEO. SE.(143) 2.0ltr dsl turbo (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 300 average miles
Only just put these on the rear of my Seat Exeo so can't yet comment on the wearability but quite impressed with the holding in dry and wet. I do, however, have a question for anybody who has the same issue, does anyone elses tires have small round holes on the outer edge of the tires? The two that I bought both do and seem to be evenly spaced, I ask this question because one of these holes burst at 60mph on the motorway and I think it is a design fault and would like to get them replaced or money refunded. Please help. MY email is: catfourmusic@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Given 34% while driving a Ford FocusST (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 7,500 average miles
These tires were ok to start with but after just 10000km I can not deal with the road noise any more.
The tracking on then is rubbish, just had another balance to make sure it wasn't the car.
The wheel shakes, they feel square or flat spot really easy.
Car had continental sport contact 2 so I'm off to replace them back to the original.
Don't waste your money and buy what is already working on the car.
Hopeless in the wet with loads of wheel tramp

I have tryed mosts makes over the years and worked with tires for over 20 years,i dont rate these at all they came with my car great for sliding it about they let go without warning, once down to 3/4mm the car is nearly undrivable in the wet it has a mind of its own tram-lining all over the road, may be a decent tire for a non performance car and you dont drive hard ,if your looking for a decent budget tire try kumhos i had 2 sets on my evo thrashed the guts out of it in all weathers including snow they never let me down. Heres a easy test when your looking for a tire go to the tire shop get a few makes of tires off the shelf get the fitter to spray water onto a painted surface (tiles is better) sit tire tire on as if it were on the car put some pressure on it an turn it 45 degrees each way an see which tires slide away youl be surprized which tires dont hold.

Given 51% while driving a Ford (235/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 18,000 spirited miles
First I am going to start with good points:-

Grip in the dry is excellent. Wet grip is not bad at all quite progressive before they let go, or more precisely you push them too far.

Value for money. Very good compared to some of the top brands. I even managed to get 18,000 out of the tires before changing them out for Goodyear Eagle F2s - that is when I realised just how much road noise the 452s were generating. Not only road noise, but mechanical noise to boot. i.e. wheel bearing and alike.

Now for the not so good points:-
My car also needed extra load side wall (XLs). After about 2000 miles these seemed to give up the ghost and the car was being pulled into the lorry ruts. I put this down to the size of the tires, but in hindsight the original tires (Continental Sport 2s) did not do this and the Goodyear tires don’t.

I had read through the reviews before buying the 452s and dismissed a few as they were over critical. However, be warned, road noise is an issue with these tires!

In summary, and in my opinion, smaller lighter sportier cars would have no problems with the 452s and would reap the excellent wet/dry grip and value for money. However, if you are driving a larger heavier car, side wall stability and uneven tire wear along with the road noise would probably be an issue.

Given 15% while driving a Ford Focus mk2 (235/35 R19 W) on mostly country roads for 10,000 spirited miles
Focus RS mk2. I downgraded to these tires after reading all the reviews on this site convincing me that it was worth the £40 a corner saving. Now all I can say is never buy these tires if you enjoy driving and want to keep your car dent free, I will be returning to Continental 5P.
