Given 70% while driving a Citroën DS3 THP 150 (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 10,000 average miles
Initially, I saw a dramatic difference when leaving the garage as the tires gripped well in the dry and fairly well in the wet. They seemed to let go on some corners when cornering hard and the traction control stepped in.

These were fitted to my DS3 THP for around 16 months when they wore down to the limit having done around 10 000 miles which I felt to be quite rapid wear with mainly town driving. This may be due to the weight of the engine on the front but I consider this to be poor wear.

I'm moving to Avon ZZ5's due to recommendation so hopefully they will wear better.

Knowing how bad the weather is in the UK, I opted to primarily find tire that gives good wet grip. Put simply, these hoops give you plenty of feedback when wet, so it lets you know when it's going to let go.

You need to be really giving it some through wet twisties, or cross a rivulet at pace for them to break traction, but when it does, it's very predictable. Wet roundabouts = no problems! The feedback lets you drive as confidently as in the dry. You'd obviously still wheelspin if you dump the clutch in the wet, even with modest torque!

In the dry, they're not as sticky as say more sports oriented rubber, but I'm glad I have the safety net in the wet.

5000 miles and no signs of excessive wear!

these have been by far the best tires I have had on my car. for a mid range tire you wont get any better. so far they have done 12,000 miles and they hardly look used. I will definitely buy these again.

Given 99% while driving a Volvo (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 4,000 average miles
After a bad experience with some Goodyears I was going to revert to some Pirelli P zeros (an animal known to me). However, I got tempted by the 914s after my son put some on his car. I don't do high mileage but having put 4 on in the Spring they have performed well on two long Summer holiday trips to Cornwall and France. While they perhaps don't have the 'sticky' grip of P zeros I felt very safe with these in each corner. The car handled beautifully with a very full load on each holiday (4 adults, luggage, roof box and dog). Premium tire performance at a fraction of the price. PS. They are showing hardly any signs of wear

Given 84% while driving a Ford Focus mk2 (205/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
Bought these after reading reviews on this tire. Was on a budget so went for mid range tires. I am glad I did as these are excellent tires. I have used GY Efficientgrip, Conti sport 5 and Dunlop sport Maxx RT. The falkens provide as good dry and wet grip with these best of these, quieter than all of them, with as good fuel efficiency. Yet handling was excellent with good feedback. The wear rate thus far has been very impressive. I have done 5000 miles. I just had a brake check at a local ford garage and they still had 8mm in all four corners, ie virtually no wear!
Very impressed, highly recommended.

Given 87% while driving a Honda Accord (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 7,000 spirited miles
Having used 10 sets of tires in 100000 miles of my Honda Accord 2.0 sport trying nearly every manufacture Michelin Goodyear Pirelli kunho firestone etc I have been really impressed with these. I am a spirited driver and expect excellent wet and dry weather feedback. These tires do exactly that. Comfortable on the motorway , rock solid in the rain ( which is most of our weather) but also surprisingly good under real racing ( Castle Combe track day)
The best compliment is that I never have to think about them , which is not always the case with some. I was very impressed with the Michelin Primacy which cost 40 percent more and with the exception of a minor reduction in dry weather feedback I would say these are very similar in terms of performance. I will be returning when they wear out.
You won't be disappointed

Given 87% while driving a Fiat Grande Punto TJet (205/45 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 4,000 spirited miles
Nice tire. Good lateral grip and traction both on dry and wet, good comfort and low noise.
Even if Bridgestone RE050A (oem) had a better lateral grip and the steer seemed stiffer I don't miss them: they are a bit too much sporty.
Falken ZE 914 are cheaper but the quality is very good.
Signs of wear are already visible on front axle (thanks to a smart indicator system), probably the compound is a bit soft.
If wear doesn't get worse so quickly I would buy again

I wanted a good tire for touring use away from motorways. Absolute grip in the dry had to be compromised by excellent grip in the wet, especially on a rear-wheel drive car without ABS, traction control and all the rest of the systems that take control away from the driver. The Falkens have proved a good choice. Whilst much of the driving might be considered as "average" style, there is some that it "spirited". At this level the Falkens feel progressive on the back - which means more control for the driver over corners: braking, turn-in, and acceleration. I might try another tire for comparison, but not because I'm dissatisfied with the Falkens. The Falkens have proved to be better than the previously fitted Avon ZX3s.

Given 64% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 SportCombi AERO Hirsch (235/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 10,000 spirited miles
The Falken ZE-914 is a decent tire but not as good overall as the other tires mounted on my cars over the years (Michelin Pilot Sport, Continental SportContact, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric2). The ZE-914 is good in rain and on wet slippery roads where it handles very well. Regarding noise the ZE-914 is a little noisier than the previously mentioned tires, but not much – the noise level is okay. The ZE-914 definitely needs to be warm to perform best. But the comfort level of the ZE-914 never reaches the same level as other tires mentioned. In high speed the ZE-914 also performs very well and provides a nice feedback. Considering the price of the ZE-914 compared to the previously mentions tires it’s lower, and the price needs to, because the other tires just feel better overall.

Amazing tire! Just did 2000km and so far so good. They give you a very smooth and comfortable ride. Lots of grip on dry and in corners. In wet also very good. I have not discovered any negative points. Compared with my previous tires, continental sportcontact 5, the Falken's are better on all fronts. I recommend them to everyone.
