Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tire tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Given 50% while driving a Honda Civic SI Coupe (235/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 9,000 spirited miles
I had to leave this review to combat the unrealistic expectations of the tires by other reviewers.
This tire is $350us for a set of four. It’s the cheapest, softest, high performance tire available for someone on a budget or someone that burns through tires.(track days/drift days)
I put these on a weekend warrior/dd car with pretty low expectations because of price. This quickly changed.
Car drove great after alignment(anytime new tires are put on alignment should be done).
After a hard 100miles of scrubbing time and heat cycles these tires settled in nicely.
Dry grip was very good for a 400 tire. I’d say this tire is more 250-300 in wear category. It’s no falken Azenis. But it’s definitely not all season. It’s a good entry level high performance only tire. Once the tire built heat tire would start marbling. This would only happen when driven very hard on hot 90°f+ days.
I did find the performance edge of the tire very quickly when cold(0 road heat). When hot it’s a little more forgiving. A beginner or someone that has 0 skill would have a hard time with this abrupt edge.
Wet grip was ok. It was very comparable to my Goodyear eagle sport all seasons. Definitely not a tire i would race on in the wet or drive with spirit on road when wet.
Winter. This tire is not an all season tire. It is not a winter tire. This is a soft compound tire. A soft compound needs heat to work. Cold and soft tires do not mix.
Noise level was good. Again it’s a high performance tire with a soft compound for $350. Most people running this kinda tire have cars loud enough to not hear a tire.
Tread wear. They say this tire is a 400aa tire. But I can tell after a few thousand miles it was obvious that it’s lower. I got just shy of 10,000miles out of them. Putting them in a 250-300 range in my opinion. This is comparing them the falken and federals we have ran in the past.
However, I do believe that I could have got closer to 15k to 20k out of the tire IF we ran 0-1° of camber instead of the current 2-2.5°.
Once the tire wore in from camber from daily driving this is where the tire got noisy. But again. Nature of the beast.. I will absolutely will continue to run the tire on all of my vehicles in the category.
This tire is a fantastic low budget high performance tire. But you have to understand what your buying and lower the expectations. This is not a $150-250 tire, it’s $75. It’s a tire you can buy a lot of and burn off at drift days. It’s a tire that will absolutely get you though a track day or 7 depending on temperature and skill.

Given 68% while driving a BMW 328i (225/50 R17) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
Bought these tires for the rear on my 328i..., And so I would prefer them for summer since the grip is quite awesome.. maybe because they are still new , driven them for 145 miles .. not the best on wet weather, no grip at all man! Like slip slip , while my old continental with super limited tread did better!

Given 56% while driving a Kia Motors Optima (225/45 R18) on a combination of roads for 8,000 spirited miles
I left a review a couple of weeks ago and I would like to have it retracted/updated. These Forceum Hexa tires are horrible and the first 5,000 miles seems great, but I learned that they are rated to 10-12,000 miles not the 50,000 that was advertised, hell not even 25,000. I do courier work and 40,000 every 10 months, these will be lucky to last 4 months for me. They say you get what you pay for, and I regret the $85/tire price. I was sold by the tread pattern, 400 A A & alleged listed tread life. Currently the wet grip is amazing but the compound is very soft and should be 200 C C, and never should have been used for summer/hot weather. I wouldn't recommend these tires for anyone, even if they were on a tight budget.

Worst tires I've ever bought. Car drove perfect with old worn out tires. Put these and cars wanders all over the road. Complete trash.

MINI Cooper S (215/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 30 spirited miles
I had these tires on a 05 Mini Cooper S they did very well for me in the heat off Las Vegas and did good in the few rainy days we have in the winter they handled good but we don't get snow so no idea how they would handle. I now have a set on my bmw z3 and they seem to be doing good. Will definitely buy again.

Given 64% while driving a Ford S Max (225/50 R17 W) on mostly town for 10,000 average miles
Bought these as they were all I could afford. They have easily matched the performance of Nexen N6000, Falken FK452 and Pirelli P6000s I've had in the past. Only real downside is noise. They are very noisy tires. However for the cost savings, performance and lifespan it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

Given 24% while driving a Nissan Note 1.5 dci (185/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
The worst tires I've ever driven on in over 45 years.

No grip whatsoever in snow, very little grip in wet and if standing water is more than 1 mm deep they aquaplane. So bad I have to drive like a granny in bad weather.

I've had more grip on bald tires than with these when almost new.
