Given 53% while driving a Audi A4 SE 2.0 TDI 136 (245/40 R18 V) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
These are the worst tires I have ever had the misfortune to drive on. I unfortunately bought this car when it required new tires and had no say in what type were to be fitted. These were fitted to the front of my Audi A4 2.0 TDI and these tires made my previous Vauxhall Astra 1.6 feel like a Ferrari round corners. The front of the car felt very light, giving the sensation of driving on fresh air rather than asphalt. When coming into contact with surface water the car aquaplaned very easily, however I initially forgave this as the tires are quite wide. The limit of the these tires however was easily reachable, with understeer occurring even with the slightest hint of aggressive driving. In corners at speeds where the astra would sail round without any issues, I found the front end of the Audi would let go even under very little acceleration. As well as this, the dry grip is very poor as well, in fact this is the first time I have experienced a loss of grip in any car in dry conditions. As well as this, when the car reached its limits through corners the tires let go instantly, with very little hint or progression in terms of loss of grip. On the plus side, I had these tires for just short of 6000 miles and there is very little wear and tear, even though I have spent most of that mileage with the tires facing sideways in corners. After 6000 miles I have also decided to dispose of these tires and I now have Continental SportContact 5s which, so far, have transformed the car in terms of handling and grip, and in general the whole feel of the steering has improved dramatically. I would never recommend these tires to anyone and will certainly not be purchasing these again. I am unaware of the price, however I would hope that these are priced at a budget level as they are worth very little more. I would recommend that if anyone does plan on purchasing these tires, that they drive on straight roads with very few corners.

Given 100% while driving a Volkswagen Golf Mk6 (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 22,000 average miles
These tires are excellent and have lasted so far for 22000 miles and have still around 4.8mm so very pleased overall with longevity. The performance in varied conditions is excellent and equivalent to Continental tires that I have used for many years. Very highly recommend.

Given 87% while driving a Vauxhall (225/40 R18 W) on mostly town for 4,000 spirited miles
I have had these tires on the front of my car for 4000 miles and there's hardly any wear. I went out and got matching ones for the back, so now I can test the progressiveness of these tires fairly. On the fronts however I can accelerate in second in the wet with little or no wheel spin, unlike the Achilles, autogrips and the BCT's that came before. The bct tires were the worst for grip closely followed by the Achilles. The grip is excellent if you "drive it like you stole it" which being a delivery driver, I often do!!

Replaces a Michelin primacy hp coming home, I can say that so far I'm happy with the tires are very similar to the old Michelin and I hope to continue like this.

Give a feeling of stepping smooth and firm, but see if these qualities keeps over the kilometers in this respect the Michelin managed to provide good continuity of their performance during use.

For my moderate use and with some excesses has been showing a balanced tire with a good ratio quality / price.
