My thought are that these tires are junk. They are a safety hazard on the freeway. 305 12.5 17's are by far the worst tire i have ever bought. When going down the freeway my truck follows lines in the road and it drifts making it look like im drunk trying to stay in 1 lane. It's only a matter of time before I either crash or get pulled over. On the street at speeds up to 60 it's fine but after 60 it's trying to toss me from my lane. Don't buy this tire. Just don't do it. Oh they are on my 04 f150 4x4. BF's i had were far better than these. Wish i wasn't rebuilding my engine just after purchase. The time ran out for replacement before i noticed how bad they handle so they wont help me.

I drive a 2015 Toyota Tacoma and chose the General Grabber ATX tires to replace the stock tires. After a little over 40,000 miles, I can safely recommend this tire to just about anyone looking for a functional all terrain tire. Admittedly I chose these tires based on looks over performance. Having also driven on BF Goodrich KO2s on a previous vehicle, these General Grabber ATXs will give the KO2s a run for its money. The wear is excellent, rated for 50,000 miles, I expect to meet its limited warranty and well beyond. I mainly drive in the city but will travel off road from time to time, never had any issues going through muddy or rocky roads. Comfort level is acceptable, there is some road noise but it doesn’t bother me much. The only negative real thus far and it’s to be expected, the tire has lost some wet grip as it’s worn down. Initially it was great, but it has noticeably lost it’s wet traction. No big deal for me, just need to slow down some, and can’t take off from a stop as quickly. Aside from that, if you are considering the General Grabber ATX, you can’t go wrong with them. Take care of your vehicle and your tires and they’ll take care of you!

I am on my third set of General Grabber AT. The ATx is a good evolutionary improvement. I drive from open highways to serious off road. Each time I find myself in extreme conditions, including 2 feet of snow, I am amazed with the Grabber AT. I am a tire snob. I run the best tires possible on everything I drive, from SCCA track days, to my super Duke R. When it comes to a all terrain, do everything tire, they are hard to beat.

I have 14 months with the ATXs and they are just the best tires I have tried! In this time they have worked properly on dry and wet pavement, with really good grip in just every direction, acceleration, braking really hard (with no abs), and turning; also on gravel, light mud, sharp rocks and overall shitty road conditions. My truck handles really well since the first day I put them on, they are quiet and very confidence inspiring, the compound is very soft but elastic, maybe that is the secret behind the good performance and comfortable ride they provide. I have scraped the sidewall against rocks, trees, concrete sidewalks and much more, and the side walls still really good, there's no tearing or chipping, and no internal breaking of the strings or rubber. The most impressive thing happened just month ago, a car crashed into my truck really hard from the side in the direction of rear to front, the car was so low to the ground that the front hit the tread of my front tire. The hit was so strong that the rim ended broken and the entire truck moved more than 4 meters to the front and 90 degrees to the right (it was parked), when I saw the damage my first thought was that the tire was cut in half or at least that the internal strings where damaged, well... One month later, my truck is repaired, I have a new rim and that same tire is rolling like it never happened anything to it, not even a visual scratch! Judging by the wear in these 14 months they have at least another 6-7 years of life left. All my trucks will have ATXs from now on. I'm being completely honest, General just got a life time costumer.
