Third review having renewed the front ones at 2.5mm. Completed approx' 2000 miles and cannot fault these tires on my car and my style of driving. They have never shown any sign of "letting go" either in the wet or dry and this "Jelly" feeling described by others is just not there. Maybe as I said before it is because I have to have the XL version. Try as I may I cannot see where all this negative stuff about these tires comes from.

These tires came fitted new to my BMW X 1 4x4 and seem to have wasted the extra cost of the 4x4 system. In the recent snow these tires have resulted in having less grip than many 2 wheel drive cars. I would say that they verge on dangerous and have seen the car sledge at speed on snow downhill completely out of control. Dry weather grip is good and they are quiet, but really if the are poor in slippery conditions it negates all safety benefits. I cannot wait to get them off the car.

These tires are fitted on my Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCI and they are brilliant.
They run dramatically quieter at higher speeds >60mph than my previous tires, and they have been no trouble at all in the snow and rain. I have yet to have any negative press for these.

Brought these to replace the Runway Enduro's that I was given by a friend, so far I'm pleased with them. Dry grip is good and wet grip is average to good. I've noticed the difference since buying these compared to the cheap budget Runway tires. I'm using less fuel now and road noise is considerably quieter.
After reading a few reviews I was unsure whether I should buy the efficient grips has allot have given bad reviews on here. However, a friend recommended them has she has them on her car and has done 30K+ miles and still has around 10k+ more miles left on them.
After buying them though, I disagree with a lot of people here. The old saying "you get what you pay for" rings true. If you plan on driving to the limit in your car, then spend the extra buying tire's that fit your driving style. I'm more of a laid back driver so these suit my style of driving.
At £78 per tire fitted for the 205/60R15 95H XL's I'm happy with them and would recommend them to the average driver.

First off, no way would I buy these tires again. They are on the verge of being completely unsafe any time the temperature is in single figures or lower.
Grip is poor in cool or wet conditions, causing understear (I have some older tires of a different make on the rear axle). If you follow another car around a roundabout, matching their speed you could slide quite easily.
If it snows, forget it! My Bridgestones are on the front axle, on a front wheel drive car. I recently got stuck in a carpark which was at an angle of much less than 5 degrees from the horizontal with about an inch of snow on the ground. It took one average sized man to push me out. Hopefully that demostrates how poor the grip is. Furthermore, my previous tires (some worn Westlakes which had a towards-illegal depth of tread) in conjunction with the car was beating many part time 4x4's up snowy inclines, around corners etc.
The dry weather grip is ok-not noticably lacking or amazing, but then I don't exactly push to the limit. Fuel economy has not changed by more than a few mpg up or down in comparison to the previous tires. After around 4000 miles the tires have not worn excessively.

After 10,000kms i would like to say, there is much to be desired about this tire.
this tire is piss poor in the rain!! my previous Primacy LC had much more composure when driving on the highway. similar conditions and on the same car. if you care about your life and others, avoid at all cost
also, this tire is noisier than most tires. maybe i am used to Primacy LC quiet tires but this tire will hum, roar and wail on most roads.
i wont buy this tire again and will never recommend this tire. please avoid!

Second review having completed a further 4000miles on these tires. I liked them before and still do. I have the XL version so maybe stiffer sidewalls but have never felt this "Jelly" some other people talk about. They seem ideal for my style of driving and the car, both of which are less than "spirited". Great touring tire, just about to get two more for the front as I don't go below 2.5mm. I agree that legally they have some more life in them.

Let me begin by saying I have only owned the car for 1 month and it came with some worn out Bridgestone on the front and and worn Michelin's on the rear. I used this as part of the haggle. Handling was unusual to say the least. When you are looking to replace all tires with a potential spend of £500+ you do some research. I had the chance to get 4 Goodyear EfficientGrip's for a very good price and of course you are suspicious. I read reviews, researched prices but had to go for them. I have had them fitted and what a difference, quiet, positive feedback, good handling with the potential of saving some money on fuel as well. As with all tires they are better when warm but I gave them a good thrash on some local country roads the other night and it was like a different car. At this early stage I have little to compare them with on this car but so far I would recommend them. I made a point of noting how the other tires handled before and after the change. I also looked to note the jelly like feel described by other reviewers and in all honesty I cannot feel it. After fitting I checked all tire pressures and set them exactly to Audi's recommended psi and these tires are spot on. I will come back and review these tires next autumn when I have used them for 6 months to report mpg and wear but first impressions count and I am pleased. I think I will take the car out fora Sunday morning thrash just to check them again now:)

Have had these in place of michelin energy saver tires, have now done around 2000 miles now and am very pleased with these tires. Noticeable difference in drive, softer and more smoother than michelins, hard corning is noticeable in comparassion to the michelins, wet grip is as very good, as well as dry grip, no noticable wear yet or difference in fuel consumption. Subject to some reviews on these tires i would deffinatly recommend these tires to anyone.

these tires came stock with my ford focus 2012. 180bhp but auto gearbox.
handling of my ford was good. good feedback. however, when the rain starts to pour, my ford it terrible!
so my friend begged me to change my tires. i did. i changed my tires to Michelin PS3.
these tires really transformed my car. from a good handling car, it is now brilliant. feedback was fantastic and in the rain, it no longer a hovercraft!!
the EfficientGrip should be called, EfficientCrap. it is terrible.
