Hankook Ventus V12 evo k110 Reviews - Page 4

Given 76% while driving a Volkswagen Golf Make VI GT 160 HP (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
after 15000 miles... it still performs great. It grips dry and wet. Braking..? On par with CSC2.

My fault, i ignored about alignment...As result, front tires are used up now. time to change. But rear tires, only 20% worn.

THE only complain.. soft side wall which makes car wobble during negociate hard and uneven cornering road. Solution: put more tire pressure..but a bit bouncy ride is expected.

205/45/17 88W XL on Honda Civic Type R EP3:

Was a choice between this vs. Toyo T1-R to replace my OE Bridgestone Pots and I am very happy with my choice for Hankook. The first thing I noticed was how quiet they are! These have very good grip and the XL tire walls are almost the same as the OE Bridgestones so handling is top notch.

Dry grip in town driving is very good, surprisingly good, reacts well with the car. Wet grip is also very good but need to continue wearing in these tires to find out if their grip is constantly this good.

When pushed hard on country roads you still get good feedback and these make you feel more confident and in control of the journey. Will definitely buy again, these will probably be my choice of tire from now on.

Possibily the worst Tires ever used. Performs well in daily commute and decent wet handling but poor performance as a performance tire. The treadblock is too soft and results in squirming. Tire lets go very unexpectedly. Definately not for use in any performance application

Had a set of poor quality cheap tires on when i bought the car so grip and stopping was concerning! put a set of evo's on and was initially surprised and pleased with the improvement. However the side-walls are too soft and offer no protection to the alloy's and they didn't seem to last very long max 18months or

Given 59% while driving a Renault Clio 182 cup (205/45 R16) on mostly country roads for 7,000 average miles
I fitted these tire's to a clio 182 a car which granted is quite hard on its front tires to start with they felt a vast improvement over the silly budget tires fitted before. They feel very competent in the dry plenty of feel not a lot of tire wobble great! In the wet they become unstuck on a very regular basis after just 1000 miles rendering the cars performance pointless. Most annoyingly though is the poor wear, they managed 6-7000 before dropping below the legal requirement, Despite there really very good dry performance I wouldn't by them again.

These K110 Ventus V12 EVO tires came fitted to my car when I got it, and the previous owner told me they'd only done a couple thousand miles prior to me buying it. Not having had any other tires on this car, I can't make a true comparison, but for what it's worth, I really like these tires. Granted, my car doesn't have a lot of power, plus an LSD, plus TRC, so it's not the easiest thing to "unstick", even when giving it some, but despite that, these tires just grip and grip. Even with the TRC off and side stepping the clutch mid bend, the grip level is superb. Even in the wet, and on damp, slippery roads, they are reassuringly grippy.

Would definitely buy these again, with no qualms.

Given 96% while driving a BMW 330 Ci Sport (225/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
Great tires. Excellent feedback on tuned rear-drive sports-car. My car is noisy because of Clubsport's factory poor noise protection, so I hear the engine, exhaust and tires much louder than it could be on regular E46. Tires are well balanced, have strong grip on dry and wet, provide cornering at 100 km per hour. Buy again of course. Highly recommend!

Given 81% while driving a MINI Factory JCW 2009 (59 Plate) (205/45 R17 V) on mostly country roads for 8,000 spirited miles
I have gone through many brands of tires and have to say these tires, especially at the price they are to its competitors - amazing. Exceptional summer grip and greatly balanced for use in the wet too. The only marks down I give are for the tire wear, not for how quick they get down to 1.6mm because the compound is great and they seem to be lasting forever but its the block pattern. They are almost triangular to a certain point so as the tire wears, the original tire pattern fades away to - well before the life of the tire.
However, totally recommended, I am a high speed, mainly motorway and country/winding roads driver.
