Given 60% while driving a Lexus ES350 (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 3 easy going miles
THE HF805 tires if a good cheap budget tire. this tire is horrible in the snow and manageble in the rain respecting your speed. Bottom line-good warm climates or summer driving. the tire compound is not suitable for winter and heavy rain condition. Rich Perry from Chicago.

Given 70% while driving a Renault clio 197 (215/45 R17) on mostly town for 0 spirited miles
Bought my Clio 197 with these on.To be honest I have never heard of this brand so did a little digging up..Found them pretty good overall. In Feb 2014 I did a trackday at Oulton Park and I have to say that they hold up pretty well considering the weather was 50/50.In all fairness the wet grip is not awesome.Have had my traction control light flickering on a numerous occasions in the wet but the dry grip is good enough.Have had them on for more than a year now (track day) and there is about 4mm of tread left.
Buy again?Hmm if I had to (struggle for money) probably yes.It is a decent tire probably better than most of the budget tires out there.

Given 100% while driving a Jaguar S type 3.0 (245/40 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 650 average miles
Hi,

My name is Kenny. I bought 4 x Hifly HF805 tires on Tuesday 26 March 2014 for my 3.0 litre Jaguar S-Type V6 Sport after reading the gentleman with the Ford Galaxy's review on this page. To that gent, I would just like to say a HUGE 'thank you'. Cheers, mate, for your accurate, intelligent and trustworthy review.

After reading his review, I purchased the tires from Gates Tires, Workington, Cumbria. They were fitted to my Jag straightaway in Gates Tires's superb tire-fitting centre by a great tire-fitter called Gary. I bought my Jag in June last year. There was shaking through the steering wheel when I got it, but I didn't mind. I thought it might be a wheel-balancing issue. My Jag is 9 yrs old, but only has 65,000 miles on it. It is in mint condition. It is Midnight Black, with full sport Black Pack option. She is a beautiful car to look at, and drive. The only thing that was spoiling the ownership of my Jag was the tire issues - both front and back.

I was getting violent shaking through my steering wheel, but had NO idea it could possibly be caused by the tires. I am an engineer, but I'm not a tire expert. Gary told me that all 4 tires were misshapen. Also, the tires were perished (cracked) and made with a hard (crap) rubber compound. I had no idea tires could be 'misshapen'. I visited Kwik-Fit in January 2014 who told me the same thing, but I thought they were just trying to get me to buy new tires. The back tires were making an maddening rumbling noise because of the high and low spots caused by being slightly distorted and misshapen. Gary showed me how to feel for these high/low spots when he removed the old tires.

I was going to buy 4 x Dunlop Sport Maxx RT tires. However, I had read terrible reviews about them. After looking here on Tirereviews.co.uk website, I decided to try the Hifly tires as a CHEAP way to find out if my steering wheel shakes were being caused by misshapen tires. Well, guess what? I immediately drove along a stretch of dual carriageway at 70mph and had NO steering wheel vibration WHATSOEVER. Finally, my Jag feels like a Jag should be: assured and solid grip on the road at speed, and a super-smooth luxury ride.

My Hifly HF805 245/40/R18 Y tires cost just £75 pounds each!! Compare that to £151 for ONE Dunlop Sport Maxx RT tire on BlackCircles.com! Honestly, these tires are AWESOME: good, soft compound. I do drive my Jag pretty sportily (..great fun!) and these Hifly tires have fantastic grip.

Bottom line: the Hifly HF805 tire is a fantastic tire. 'Budget' does NOT mean 'crap' when referring to this Hifly HF805 tire. I'm still not a tire expert, but I know quality, good design and superb manufacturing.

I had to drive from the Lake District to London for a business meeting on Wednesday 26 March 2014. The day after my new tires were fitted. Before, I was dreading the journey with the old tires on my car. But with the new tires fitted the journey was a dream. Finally, my cherished Jag feels like the luxury sporting performance Jaguar she always was! The weather was dry/fine/sunny on my 300mile drive to London: the tires were superb. Fantastic, assured grip. Driving 300miles back home, I faced TORRENTIAL rain the whole way: the tires, again, were superb in atrocious wet conditions, too. Felt just as safe as driving in dry conditions. Exceptional water removal performance due to intelligent tread design. I panicked a few times when I suddenly saw huge areas of standing water on the motorway as I was driving at 80mph. As all of you will also have experienced in scary such moments, you have ZERO time to react. But instead of potentially-fatal aquaplaning, these Hifly tires just carved through all that water in a totally safe and reassuring way. Thank f**k!

Thanks again to that gent with the Ford Galaxy for his review about the Hifly tires. And thanks, also, to the Hifly Tires company in China for making such a fantastic tire.

For all the reasons I've mentioned above, I'm giving this Hifly HF805 tire a 10 in EVERY category. Do NOT hesitate: buy this tire. You'll be extremely delighted and very impressed with it.

Given 87% while driving a Ford Galaxy (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 3,000 average miles
Found that 1 of my michelins had gone out of shape on my ford galaxy causing a violent shake through the steering wheel, i needed to change the front pair soon any way, i bought a set of 18" alloys for my wife's Audi A3 and they had the hifly hf805's on them and i was impressed by the handling as it gripped very well in all conditions. I was a bit wary of putting them on my heavy ford galaxy TDI that is nose heavy, i changed the tires when i bought it for michelins as the car would understeer massively in the wet with the original budget tires that i bought the car with, but i wish i bought them sooner! I cannot tell the difference between them and the michelins, i am a 13 year served specialist tire technician and know my stuff when it comes to tires, these tires have really impressed me on both of my cars, yes if i push my heavy mpv up hill giving it some stick into hard bends in the wet it will start to understeer, but you can feel whats happening and its predictable and the price is amazing £120 a pair fitted!! Less than the price of one michelin! Im sold with these on my TDI ford galaxy and Audi a3 maybe not great on an impreza when ultimate grip is everything, but if you drive properly and aren't a total loon you need to try these i am impressed and i'm a professional.

Given 76% while driving a Vauxhall Insignia CDTI 160 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 7,000 average miles
Came with the car back and front,I'd guess they were about 90% when I got the car,iv done just over 7000 miles on them and the front will need changing within the next few weeks,I do a lot of driving about 600 miles a week.i reckon I could push 10000 miles on a new set but that's the max I would get, overall they are fine for the cost of them and ideal if you want a budget tire or your just doing short trips,as for me I won't buy again as I need a tire with a better wear value.

Given 53% while driving a Mercedes Benz A140 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 10,000 spirited miles
Very poor wet grip, I've never seen the ESP light flickering so often. Almost impossible to make quick getaways on damp or wet roads. Fine in the dry though, quiet and stable. Dread to think what the increase in stopping distance over proper tires is with these in the rain though!

A very good tire, I would bye again for sure, if your a regular driver, not a speed freak mind, but do tramp on at times, and sensible in the bends, this tire is the biz, and I'm not talking looks although they are good too, honestly you will be surprised.

Given 83% while driving a Subaru Impreza (205/40 R17) on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
I've not found a better tire, and I've used many different known brands before, these tires not only impress but surpass my expectations at a speed of 175km's I had not picked up the slightest wheel vibration. I'm keen to push to 200 km's soon.

Given 90% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDI 140 SLine (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 30,000 spirited miles
These tires came fitted to the car and I was wary at first as there is little info on them. I needed not to have worried they were really well behaved in all weathers. The fronts lasted 16000 mile and the back tires have done 30000 to date and have still over 3mm left. They are also very quiet and the best part is the price only around £50 on ebay.
