Outright useless in serious winter conditions. Stopping in the rain is so terrible, you might as well consider them economical, because once you set off, you will never stop again despite your best efforts. Jokes aside, they really are terrible in the wet. The only thing that takes your mind away from the crap performance is when you start thinking about the noise, because they are noisy. Generally, assuming you want to perform spirited driving in the dry, they are okay. I replaced the rear ones for studded Pirelli Ice Zeros which turned out phenomenal, and left the crap Kumho in the front. Left them there for a long time, and the wear didn't seem all too bad. So that's the one single positive aspect about them
