I fitted a set of Marangoni Mythos to my Audi Avant after the OE Continentals wore out. I don't drive like a maniac but 14,000 miles from the front Continental was a bit short of what I expected. I was recommended Marangoni by a friend who is into his performance cars, and he swore to me that Marangoni were as good as anything he had tried before. I took his advice and have to say that I have been really impressed so far. I've now driven 18,000 miles on them and although the fronts are getting a bit worn, I'm sure they will run for 20,000 miles (a full 6000 more than the Continentals!)
The grip levels of these tires in the dry are phenomenal and it takes some seriously stupid driving to get them to break point. In the wet, they are MUCH better than the OE Continentals! Even my wife could tell the difference on wet roundabouts.
Anyway, at risk of sounding like an advert for Marangoni, I'll stop at that. But for me, as a high miles driver, in a powerful and heavy car, I have 100% confidence in these tires. Oh, one other thing.... the tires are Italian made, not produced in Asia / China etc. To me, this means they are specifically designed for European roads.... again, that must be a plus point.
