Unfortunately for me I bought Sailun 225/55/16 xl and I transformed my car in a boat ! I'm really impressed about the wear of the tires it's actually very good , but as a comfort approximately 0(zero) ...I will never buy this again even if its very cheap!

Given 30% while driving a BMW 520d (225/55 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 1,000 average miles
What a disaster. The decision to purchase these tires was one of the worst I have ever made. Totally ruined the handling, ride and roadholding of my BMW 520D. These tires turned a crisp handling saloon car into a wobbly unpredictable mess. Also the level of road noise is unacceptably high, characterised a monotonous whine and drone from 20MPH up to highway speeds.
Do not buy these tires. I Cannot overemphasise how poor they are.

Sailuns now swapped out for a full set of Avon ZV5's which have TOTALLY transformed my car. Massive improvement all round. It's like a different car!

Given 84% while driving a Saab Automobile 93 Aero 1.9 TTiD (225/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 250 average miles
I bought these based on what I read on this site and others. So far I have been pleased with the way they have performed. They replaced Dunlop Sport Maxx and I am not missing them yet. The wet grip is not as good as the Dunlops but in every other way they are better. When they do lose grip they are very progressive and you know you are pushing it. I had previously bought a car with cheap nasty Chinese brands on them and they were awful, grip just going when cornering in wet and damp conditions.

There has also been snow and ice recently and these tires have been fine in that weather. I previously had continental sport contact on the car back in 2010 and in the snow they were awful. The tread pattern was radial with the lateral tread not deep at all and so once part worn down, driving in snow was like a train on icy rails.

I have only done a couple of hundred of miles so cannot comment on wear but will advise if I see any big issues with wear.

Given 86% while driving a Hyundai i30 (205/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 200 average miles
I wasn't sure what to expect with these tires, as I had never heard of Sailun until a couple of weeks ago. However, some internet research into the company, especially from Canada, suggested they were trying to ditch the typical image of cheap Chinese tires and substandard quality and so I took a bit of a gamble and stuck a pair on the front of my i30.

I have to say, having driven on several different budget tires in the past that these are the best of the lot thus far. They look and feel like a much more expensive tire, yet only cost the price of a typical budget tire.

The treads are aggressive in appearance, and look more of an all-season tire than a summer tire. Dry road grip is superb; I had no problems throwing my car into corners and the response and feedback were excellent.

The tires are slightly less effective in the wet though; while they do still give decent grip in straight lines, on wet, greasy corners you can feel the tires trying to slip out, even at lower speeds. As soon as you straighten up though, the tires are back to some solid grip.

The feedback and ride from the tires is good and very comfortable, and road noise is good - certainly much less than the Hankook K415s they replaced. Time will tell how well they wear, but all in all, I'm very impressed with this budget tire.
