Fitted the Uniroyal Rainexpert tires to replace the original fit Yokohama's on my wifes car.We decided to go for the uniroyals as we get a lot of standing water, mud and snow in the winter on the roads in the rural area where we live. The Uniroyals have been fantastic in the snow and ice. Would reccomend.

What a tire! They have totally transformed the way my car drives. Original NCT5 were lethal in anything other then bone dry conditions. Replaced these at 3000mls with Barum Brilliantis which although tons better then the NCT5s would still scramble for grip on the fronts when pulling away with any urgency at junctions in damp conditions.Have changed the fronts to Rainexperts after 27000 mls and Wow! Quieter,smoother ride and shed loads of grip rain or shine.On a local roundabout which is notoriously slippery the car would drift on all four tires on the barums at 20 mph but with the Rainexperts on the front stays planted with just the backend sliding out . Will definitly have to put Rainexperts on the back now. Only downside with the tire is that my fuel consumption has increased by 2-3mpg but this might be down to me being able to drive that bit more 'spirit' in the damp conditions.Tires have also excelled in the recent snow. Car in front of me went into a 360 skid and I managed to drive around him with no problems and no sliding.Excellent, excellent tire.

I have had previous good experience of Uniroyals on a Mercedes saloon so purchased these for my Lexus. They grip well, wet and dry, and are pleasantly smooth and quiet, albeit not as good as superb Yokohama dB550, which I can't get any more in the size I need. Wear seems average. One issue to watch, though, is tramlining. Any wide tire is prone to following the two big grooves left (particularly noticeable lane 1) by cars and trucks pounding the motorway. My experience is that assymetric tread patterns do not suit big Lexus cars; in particular, they tend to be noisy, probably why Lexus does not specify such tires as original equipment. The V-shaped symmetrical directional pattern on the Uniroyal Rain Expert is quiet BUT it tramlines more than other tires I have had on the same car, so can be disconcerting at first. This is the only drawback of this otherwise good tire.

Very pleased with these tires, set of 4 fitted £250, great in the wet, good in snow and slush, hitting deep roadside puddle would cause car to pull inwards with Bridgestone/Conti,with Uniroyal the car slows but stays straight.Ride good over rough surfaces and little road noise. I can recommend them and will certainly buy them again.

I really couldn't tell the diference between grip in the wet and dry. I have done 14000 miles with them and still they have 4-5mm left. I am a careful driver but not a slow driver and I have given the tires some testing at times. One test was flooring it around a 90 degree corner in the pooring rain to show a friend how good they are in the wet, i probably went from about 10-40mph (very quickly) and the traction control light barely blinked (one tiny flash) and the car did exactly as it would in the dry. Do these tires defy physics? The car is a 130 bhp tdi

My original Lacetti tires could not always find grip and worse in the wet even on gentle throttle wheels would spin. Fitted the Rain Expert and Wow No spit at all and Very good in the recent snow to . I would say the car handles 100% better fetches the boy racer in me out lol

An excellent tire,much much better then the Pirelli P6000 they replaced. Although they were on the rear they felt slightly floaty, so i swapped them to the front, this improved the car dramatically. Was a bit understeery to start with, but 2k in they feel brilliant,dont understeer like they did. Now the car suffers snap oversteer in the wet because of its rear Continental tires. Which has caused the case for a new door. Will soon have them on each corner, and they are a bargain!!!

These tires were a disappointment perhaps expect more from Uniroyal. Have been riding in another car of the greater power 190cv RAINSPORT 2 and can say that in the wet tires are 5 *, on dry roads are quite good, try it.
Perhaps because she stayed with an excellent feedback RAINSPORT 2, expected more of RAINEXPERT, I can say is that the rain is nothing special, just hit him on roundabouts or bends and you will immediately feel the tire to escape.
In the dry point nothing but the car has no power for more.
Conclusion I believe a good tire to calm drivers and cars with little power.

I've had these tires now on my Vectra C 2004 for just over 1200 miles with no signs of wear. Wet and snow weather they excell in and better than my old Bridgestones which cost almost double the money. Had difficulty obtaining them via normal outlets without the hassle of delivery only from web based companies but Kwik Fit appeared to offer good price to supply and fit with purchasing online eve cheaper. Good road noise kept to a minimum but Vectra was always fairly silent in cabin anyhow. Grip very, say again, very good in wet weather and would recommend them for mid price, but premium quality, tires.

Have had them for 3,000 miles since replaced stock Yokohama's on my Mazda. Picked them as they were the cheapest highly rated tires on Blackcircles.

So much nicer, much more confident in the wet and dry, cannot spin the front tires no matter how much I try. Have also impressed many passengers in the snow despite them not being winter tires.

Barely look used so far, and quieter.

Only bad side - has knocked about 2-4mpg off consistently.

The Rain Sport 2 would not fit this time so I settled for these based on the reviews here. Dry grip is impressive, especially on cornering. Wet grip? Uniroyal seem to be the rain expert Gods. I was looking for puddles to test them out when I first had them fitted. The tires are a bit soft on the side walls and I think about how they will hold up in extremely cold temperatures or excess on the kerb parking. Probably a bit like the RS2, they will need to be checked regularly for correct air pressure. The progressiveness of the tire is not amazing but this is not a problem if you like to take it easy and not launch off at the lights. The tires will let you down if you are looking to put them through their paces with stand still acceleration. At high speeds of 110mph they stay stable and quiet. Overall they are great when it comes to comfort and quietness. Well done Uniroyal! For continuing to make reasonably priced tires that destroy some tires that cost ?80+ for this size.

These really are excellent tires for the money. the road grip is great in both wet and dry conditions. The road noise is also very good and definitely an improvement on the Dunlops they replaced on my car. I wouldn't hesitate, when the time comes to replace these tires, to choose the same again. I think Uniroyal tires, on the whole, are vastly underrated and they should be recognised as one of the great tire manufacturers around today.
