these are I have found to be fantastic tires both in the wet and dry.sidewall is a little soft if cornering hard nothing a couple extra psi doesn't sort.. wear rate I have done 8k on the fronts tht I expect would see another 2k at least before being fully worn but gonna change front to back so I'd expect 20k ish per set
fantastic tire for the money...as there classed as a mid range tire...I've had load of premium branded tires on lots of cars and dare i say it these were best a long way....!
definitely buy again...

I fitted a full set after a month on Dunlop Sport Maxx which were dreadful. I'd had Uniroyal tires on cars previously and was fairly indifferent to them but reading some reviews decided these offered everything I needed. I have to recommend them as they are excellent. The wet grip is outstandingly good. The only thing I am not certain about is wear but if I can get a year out of them I will be well pleased. The comfort is exceptional - on the Dunlops the car could not be driven in Sport suspension setting as the ride was unbearably crashy but with the RS3s the car is not driven in anything other than Sport mode so this is a massive improvement. Road noise seems ok - I have a decent stereo so don't actually know whether it is good or bad but seeing as everything else about the tires is good, this will be good too!

Driving, I have a very good sense of what it is the tires are actually doing and I suppose this is one of those ,mysterious driving cliches that so called driving gurus like to call feedback. As for understeer etc, I wouldn't know as I have not yet provoked the vehicle. My opinion of the tires after just over 2000 miles is that they offer (in order of my priorities) brilliant performance and are superb value for money.

They stick to the road like glue in the rain. Had these on a few cars now, but seem to excel on my BMW. They do wear a bit faster than i would like but then what doesn't on the back of a BMW.

this is my 3rd pair of Uniroyal Rainsport 3s i have stuck with these as my choice of tire, previously i used to run on vredestein ultrac sessanatas and continental contisport 3, i went for the Rainsport 3s mainly from reviews, but mostly because of how well they work in the wet, i live up in Aberdeen Scotland so we have plenty of rain, not only do they handle well in the wet but also on the snow, (from yesterday experience)
I have used them on my previous Astra mk4 GSI and my current Leon FR, both front wheel drive,
another plus side is getting the power down at the front when accelerating if you have rubbish grip on the front your not getting the full potential from the cars acceleration, i had Contisport 2s on previous to uniroyals i wont lie they were brilliant tires but towards the end of there life span i just couldn't pull away without a spin, so having the uniroyals back on was like a breath of fresh air!!

had the conti's as a standered fitting which were very expensive and didnt last long, 8k on front 11k from rears, these uniroyals seem to last forever, 25k from the front set & easily 30k from the rear and at half the cost of the continenals, road noise is a bit louder but just turn the stereo up a notch and problem solved, had 2 sets now and just about to go for the 3rd, have and A3 too and these tires work just as well on that

Got these on a leon fr 170hp tdi.Done 10k and still loads of grip on the front 6mm.These tires turn in well and grip in the wet and the dry, bit of a strange fish in the damp though ,have lost traction a couple of times;could be down to grease n oil on the road/roundabout! Bought mine from camskill and saved £40 and that's delivered to house.

Fitted a pair of these on the rear of a BMW 530D to replace previous Avons.
I don't know whether there was an issue of compatibility with the Avons which were still on the front, but the handling became totally unpredictable, the rear would break away with no warning, and on most bends, even slight ones, the traction control light would flash on a regular basis, (which it never did before) and this was somewhat disconcerting.
it transformed a vehicle which generally had very good handling into one which became a distinct challenge to drive.

Distinctive tread pattern,superb handling in wet,sticks to the road like glue,far better than Continental as originally fitted,slightly noisier but not a problem.Tread design seems to pick up a lot of stones in tread and 2 punctures in same tire in first 3 weeks since fitting but no doubt just down to bad luck.To early to comment on wear but recommended by my local tire dealer who says all his staff( him included) have them on their cars.Mid price tire but top quality tire.

unbelievable tire in the wet, had pirelli p7s on before these and the uniroyals can do in the wet what the pirellis couldnt do in the dry. very good grip in the dry also, it has mostly been wet since i got these tires but in the dry spells the grip is great too. in the wet and greasey weather you cand find the limit of the grip with these. very impressed, will buy again.

Best tire for wet contitions but not as good in the dry.Whe you try to be fast at the corners is slippery.Good tire for low profile drivers.

Very grippy in wet and cold conditions, way better than the stock Hankook Evo's which gave a harsh ride on rough tarmac and not so secure in rain. RS3 are value for money, but quite soft so don´t expect to get a lot of miles out of them. Top score for wet grip and high ratings for dry grip, progressiveness, comfort/noise.

I have a tuned Mondeo estate , the sport model. Its a heavy car. It came with Michelin PS2 and was a ggod drive but all too east to spin the fronts . Once at 3 mil they went and following reviews here and the advice of my tire dealer of many years choose Uniroyal Rainsport 3. Great tire. Nice rim protection , attractive tire however wet and dry grip levels are great. I have been in the position over the years that I have been able to pick performance tires and fondly remember Yokohamas early tires that once warm felt sticky like chewing gum , yet last 5k. These tires are premium in every way bar price. In 6000 miles of high speed cintinental driving 140mph and in wwet blats around Cornish countryside roads these tires have been impeccible. So much so I have bought both my sons a set and will shortly be fitting them onto our Audi TT. As for wear 6 months 7k miles and no apparent wear , so have vastly better life than the Continentals SC5 fitted to my lease VW CC .
