Having had Premium contacts on this car before, these are slightly less sporty, but a step up in terms of comfort, and the perfect summer tire for a big, relatively powerful barge.

These are fitted to A 2001 Mazda MX5 which sees mostly track days and a little road time. Dry weather performance is phenomenal. Response is razor sharp. Traction is excellent in the dry, good in wet. Braking ability is awesome. Driven roughly 5000km and they are wearing pretty good despite fairly aggressive camber set up. Comfortable these are not. My car has rose joint suspension, I feel every little bump and road noise is bad but I am able to out corner my brother's Mustang. Will most definitely purchase again.

I have this tires fitted on my 2009 BMW 5 series in 225/50/17 size. After two summers and almost 30k miles with them, it is my favourite tire so far. Excellent grip in both dry and wet. I drove them on a good and pretty equal mix of motorways, country roads, city and national roads, performed incredibly well in all conditions. Under 10 degrees Celsius’s and cold asphalt, the grip is still good on dry but the tire gets a bit hard, which I think is normal for summer tires. They still have about 4mm of thread left, which will be good for another summer then definitely I'll buy them again or next generation of GY F1 Asymmetric Eagle. They don't seem to be noisy at all. I putted a 245/45/17 set on an 2013 E Klasse 220CDI. The handling is predictable in all conditions which gave me confidence every time I was at the wheel.

I've always fitted gy eagle on this car as I had eagle gsd on a mk2 golf gti years ago and loved them. So I've had various combinations in the 7 years ive owned the car starting with assy2 all round , then assy3 on the back , assy3 all round and now 3s on the front and 5s on the back. Being rwd the fronts tend to last roughly 1.5 times the life of the rears. I've noticed a marked difference in both wet and dry grip with the 5s on the back, especially in dry conditions where they hang on much longer before breaking traction than previous iterations. Comfort isn't top of my priorities but with the 45 profile they give a reasonable ride and are certainly the equal of the previous assy3's. Can't really comment on wear yet but from previous experience gy eagles are quite soft and trade wear for grip..also, can't comment on turn in/steering characteristic as they're on the rear. Will be changing the fronts to assy5 as soon as they need replacing and will update the review

Had 4 of these fitted to my E350 CDI Coupe, and really transformed the car over the mixed previous tires that were fitted. Response and sportiness were dramatically improved, while managing to be quieter and more comfortable. They are not the most dynamic tire in the world when compared to something like a P4S or Supersport, but for a car like this which is more comfort oriented, these are a perfect match. They grip exceptionally well too, and manage to hold on the the road and resist wheelspin much better that the previous tires. Highly recommended, and will definitely buy again for something both comfortable and sporty.

These tires have been pleasantly impressed. I thought they were not going to reach the level of the PS4 but they surpass them with a high note since they behave much better in the rain. I have also noticed a lot of improvement in hard or emergency braking, they make the vehicle stay firm and safe. Regarding wear, I do not know how much they will age but at the moment with 9,000km they remain very intact.

I have had these on all 4 corners of my 2.0 stage 1, FWD TT for a year now. The car is my week daily driver and did 6,600 miles since fitting the new tires. I have swapped them in X after 6 months. They came with about 7.5mm of thread and I lost 2mm across all tires in 1 year of mostly spirited driving on A and B roads and country lanes in Yorkshire. The car hardly ever goes on the motorway. I plan on swapping them around again in the next three months to ensure even wear and max out their durability. As I replace tires at 2 to 3mm, these should last me about 20K miles/3 years keeping to the same conditions. The grip on both wet and dry, comfort and precision still make these a decent proposition for low mileage drivers. I'd go for an all-season CrossClimate 2 or Kumho tires if durability matters. I can easily get 50K miles out of Kumho tires on a 4x4 SUV and still have over 2mm left.

Very amazing tires. Replaced my Pilot Sport 4's after the good reviews due to a good significant price difference. However I must admit I love these tires more than I love the Pilot Sports. I occasionally drive sport and the feedback is really good. Tire wear is absolutely impressive over the Pilot Sport 4's. I beat on them and showed hardly any wear. For me this is my most favorite tire so far.

I used to used asymmetric 3. I put on a set of pilot sport 4s however have gone back to the new asymmetric 5. The Michelin was a great tire, looks fantastic and handles beautifully in the dry. But I found the wear was no where near as good as the Goodyear and the wet grip wasn’t quite there either. It aquaplanes a bit more and didn’t give quite as much confidence in the wet as the Goodyear. Therefore as an all rounder I think the Goodyear is the better tire. And the difference in dry grip is small enough that it is out weighed by the Goodyear’s superior wet and all round performance

Decided to get a full set of these Eagle f1s fitted to my Audi, tracking also has been done on getting these fitted too. Was expecting a tire that would last a lot longer than the Avons I had on before. Have to say I am very disappointed in the wear, The grip however, dry and wet was very good as well as the road noise, but tire wear was the worst I have experienced so far. 13,000 miles and the rears are at the end of their life, even though it is a quattro I was expecting the fronts to maybe wear a little more from the cornering, but it seems rears have worn worse. Not sure if they are just not suited for the car, but will not be buying them again.

substituted my old Asymmetric 2s with the 5s after a very good 40.000 km experience with the former ones on every kind of surface. The 5s are only confirming the good qualities of this tire series. Incredible amount of dry and wet grip, very low noise and great feedback when driven at the limit. I drive most of the time in the city and most of the distance on highways, but love to also push the car to the limit on country roads occasionally. If not for the incredible performance, these tires should be chosen for the safety they offer

great tire out performs the competition at a cheaper price have used all the goodyear assymetrics over the past 12 years and they keep improving on all models.
