When I upgraded my wheels to 19" these tires were supplied by my main dealer and I have to say I'm not all that impressed!! Don't get me wrong, the wet and dry grip is very good indeed, BUT the wear rate is phenomenal!! I'm quite an enthusiastic driver (But not in a haze of tire smoke kind of way!!) and use both country roads and motorway, I've really struggled to make these last 12 months/9,000 miles. The road noise is awful and they track the camber of the road something terrible, making driving more of a chore than a pleasure!! The tracking/alignment was checked when the new wheels were fitted, so I can only assume that it's the tires!! Also in the size I use 235/40/19 these tires are VERY expensive at around ?200 a corner especially when all 4 last less than a year!! Suffice to say that I have changed my tire size for the next lot to 245/35/19 and this has opened up a whole load more tire brands for me...Either Nexen N3000 or Avon ZZ3 next, I've used them before & they're a whole load better than these 'Top Brand' Pirellis.....Won't be buying Pzero nero's again!!

This is the second set of Neros I've fitted and am still very happy!! Astounding dry traction, only tire I've ever fitted that doesn't spin up at the slightest provocation out of corners ( fwd and over 250bhp). Car seems really balanced and easy to control on the limit, a limit that takes some nerve to find in the dry.. ;0) Wet traction still very good for a high performance tire, wet braking is an absolute revelation for this type of tire.... Tires suit this vehicle perfectly and don't seem to suffer the sidewall roll that some competitors do in high G corners when fitted to heavy saloons... Only tires fitted on this vehicle that came close in the past were Toyo T1R but the Neros lasted significantly longer and worth the price premium IMO.

I had these before, they are expensive but you get what you pay for!!

Better in the dry than any other tire I have had.

These tires came as standard on my ST; they are an excellent tire in the dry giving lots of grip and a good warning when they are about to slide. However in the wet they are lethal! When setting off from a standing start with the lightest touch of the throttle the amount of wheel spin and axle tramp that you get is huge. When going through the corners in the wet they slip and slide all over the road and dont give much warning when the car is going to slide and dont even bother trying to use them in the snow!! I most certainly will not be buying these tires again, having read other reviews on here the Uniroyal Rainsport 2 seem to get a good review so i think i will try those next.

I brought this tire after having the standard fitted contact sports. The change in every aspect of the drive changed dramtically from Life time (about 15 - 20000 miles of very agressive driving) to the amount of grip they offerd. When the tires had bedded in after a few hundred miles i found the grip astonishing. As i found / still experiencing, very competative speed thru corners, as of the likes of Calibra turbos, clio cups i even managed to takeover an s2000 round a series of round abouts, obviously he destoryed me in a stright line.

In all Iv found this tire to be very consistant wet and dry, predictable at the limit, awsome grip and great value for money!

Next tires im having are Uniroyle rainsports 2, hopefully there better but i was very reluctant to move from these.

A good all round tire, especially suited to the X-Type Jaguar. Have averaged 25,000 miles on the front tires, very good considering this is a two wheel drive varient and an amazing 79,000 on the rear

Great tires, best I've ever used and haven't had the sliding problems mentioned by other people here.
Better than my old kuhmo ecsta supras, but only marginally and I'm unsure as to whether they merit the extra money.

Just bought the Neros after reading many reviews. Have 300k on a so far quite good. I do not have the tramlining issues noted in some reviews and grip in the wet seems reasonable although tough tell as yet. They are much quieter than the Toyos they replace and provide a much softer ride and accurate steering feel. I drive my older 911 in a pretty spirited manner but do not drive in heavy rain. (and never in snow!) The Neros provide a confident feel in damp to medium wet conditions.
I find them, best of all, to be very predictable regardless of conditions so I always know what the car will do. If I drove a more modern, higher powered car, results may be be different but for my 3.0 911, these tires have so far been very good.

I can only compare these tires with Toyo Proxes TR1's as these are the only other tire i've had on my ST and the Toyo's are far superior. The Pirelli P Nero Zeros came as standard on the ST and from day one I was disappointed. Tire grip is poor when setting off at traffic lights and at roundabouts. The wheels would slip and slide all over the place looking for grip with the slightest blip of the throttle. It was always a gamble when nipping out in front of another vehicle praying that the car doesn't go into 'slip and slide' mode! This was getting too hairy so had to wait until there was a reasonable gap in traffic before pulling out.

One of my front tires seemed to wear badly in the middle of the tire and my psi has been constantly at 30psi since the day I got it, strange. Maybe it was a dodgy tire??

The tires lasted me just under 9k miles so not too bad. Thought they would last a bit longer though.

This tire does get a thumbs up for cornering ability in dry and wet but it's when setting off they are poor.

Very expensive too!

Tire ride seemed to be very bumpy indeed, always looking to avoid those potholes at all costs!

Toyo Proxes TR1 are a softer compound tire providing better grip in dry and wet. Aquaplaning is kept to a minimum. Ride comfort is also better and tire noise is quiet also. Will they last the 9k which the Pirellis did? Who knows? But hey, if they keep you safe then I don't really care if they wear out a bit quicker. The Toyos are cheaper too!

These are really good tires but they're very expensive.

Excellent tire when the roads are dry and warm as in a race track! Cold, damp, winter roads are scary to say the least. Mine left the road in such conditions killing the car and nearly me!!!!

For standard fit I was genuinly surprized with these tires,excelent grip wet or dry. Moving from Proxies on my previous car the balance between level of grip available and wear was very good. They didn't have the outright grip the Toyos' had but lasted 50% longer with 75% of the grip.
I will 100% be replacing them with the same tire.
