Alfa Romeo GT 3.2 Tires

These are the grippiest road tires I've ever had. Amazing handling and braking distances both in dry and wet conditions. I just love how they hold the car on the road. Steering feedback is superb too. This amount of grip has its price though, it only lasted roughly 14k miles and I only have around 2.5-3 mm left so time for a new set. I also love that the outer rims protrude nicely and protect the alloy wheels well – on a 8 x 18" alloy, that is. The other minor negative is that aquaplaning performance is not exemplar, but I've learnt to go more careful around big puddles than usual. I don't believe this is a major weakness though, I am extremely happy with them and will keep buying the same set for this car.

I've had these tires for quite a while now and I'm still happy with them. Dry grip and braking cannot be faulted, it just grips and grips. So far I've experienced the best steering feel in this category too. Wet handling is also remarkable, wet braking is exemplar in hot conditions. It quickly deteriorates as it gets colder however, so you may want to look elsewhere if you plan to limp through the winter with them here in the UK. As a collateral feature to its grip levels, one has to factor in their shorter than average life, they certainly don't last long.

Did choose these tires based on reviews written here.
They're fitted to my only car, Alfa Romeo GT 3.2 with Q2 limited slip differential. Chose them because they offer best performance (Grip, Feedback, Handling) for not that much money. Didn't want to pay premium just for the pretty name on the side wall, so I took four of these.
Immediately I've noticed an improvement in my car's handling, now I can take corners at higher speeds and I always can tell where is the limit of grip in each situation. The off the line acceleration also improved, ASR practically never interrupts, the tires dig in the asphalt very well indeed.
At first, I was worried because of the semi-slick pattern of the thread, that maybe I'll have some hard time in the wet. And yet, for my relief, they give plenty of confidence even in the most showering weather.
The only drawback is the noise. They are a bit noisy. If you're looking for silence in your car, look elsewhere.
I've switched front to back at 6,000 miles, so that rear tires will have plenty of thread (the Alfa is FWD).
I drive fast and hard most of the time, but I think I can squeeze 18,000-20,000 miles from them.

Good tire.

Had them on my Alfa Romeo GT at 60000kms, now at 110000kms and still have a bit of tread left. Decent gripping tire in the dry, but in the wet can be very dangerous. Quite noisy also.

Apart from wet grip issues. A very long lasting tire.

Not enough grip while braking at high-speed(like 100mph over) and curving at hill road, especially in not so warm temp. at the tire's surface.
Road noise level is not so good, and not so comfort. But cost performance is very good, totally.
