Have had several sets now on an e92 3.0, always found that for the price performed excellently. Granted the car is more tourer than sports and they certainly suited the character perfectly. I would certainly recommend them

Came standard on my 330i e92. The tire is a great summer tire and dry grip is very impressive. However things change dramatically when the tire is faced with wet weather and standing water. They have poor resistance to aquaplaning and constantly light up the DTC, even in a straight line.
I have replaced the potenza's with sottozero's for the winter. And after looking at reviews for a more versatile summer tire I will be putting on pilot sports when the time comes.

I fitted these to my BMW E92 330i Coupe because when it snows I really struggle to get the quarter mile from my house to the main road. I did lots of research and couldn't believe the universally positive reviews given to winter tires generally - I didn't believe they could be THAT good. Believe me they are. I am simply astounded at the amount of grip and therefore confidence they give me - it almost defies the laws of physics. On Sunday night we had 6 inches of snow - the most we've had in one overnight dumping in all the years I can remember. I checked it out on foot and there was NO WAY I would have got past the first corner with my summer tires on. I drove out almost as if there was no snow ! On the most tricky bit (90 degree left, onto an uphill slope) I didn't even see the traction control light flash - it just pulled. I honestly believe my german sledge is 90% as good as a 4x4 - and better when you consider the fact that I can steer and stop when going downhill. They are honestly, genuinely amazing - if I had realised how good I would have bought them years ago. I walked round the office on Monday with a grin from ear to ear - all day.
