Fiat Grande punto Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Pirelli CINTURATO P1 given 93% (205-55-16-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 37000 easy going miles
I've been using the P1 Cinturato at my Fiat Grande Punto since the original P7 are too expensive. It's an excellent tire for mixed road/city usage and never had any issues with it. The last two sets I bought was 4 years ago and per my calculations, it lasted about 50k/60k Km with mostly city usage and some road usage eventually (20% maybe). Safe, reliable and good for overall usage. Recommended.

Driving on a combination of roads for 63000 average miles
Excellent performance tire, at all criteria. Dry grip progressive, wet grip, very good braking, wear, good handling, the only negative is comfort, itw average. Highly recommended!

Writing about the Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 given 89% (185-65-15-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 3000 average miles
Very well balanced between different types of terrain. Gives you plenty of confidence going through rain and icy conditions. In the wet they way above anything I used before.

Writing about the Kumho Solus KH17 given 77% (195-55-16-H)
Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 spirited miles
I was impressed with this set because of the grip and handling of the car. They are amazing in the dry, and good in the wet. It gives you nice feedback of the road at the compromise of comfort. The problem would be they wear out faster than other models.

Writing about the Tigar High Performance given 79% (195-55-16-V)
Driving on mostly country roads for 7500 spirited miles
Bought them because I didn't have a lot of money to spare for tires, but I am satisfied with the performance. They are a bit softer than my last set (Kumho Solus KH17) but grip pretty good in the dry and wet. Did not give me any surprises, and are pretty predictable. They do drop in grip when the temperatures fall (10 degrees C) but are still dependable. Fuel consumption is ok and the noise is pretty good. I would say they are better than the Tigar Ultra HP in the wet.

Writing about the Laufenn I FIT given 43% (185-65-15-T)
Driving on mostly country roads for 15000 average miles
Would not recommend these tires. When they were new they were ok-ish in the dry, wet and pretty ok in the snow. After the second season the wet grip fell dramatically to even become dangerous. They do not give any hint of when they are going to slip. This is their 4th winter (oct 2020) season and they are just useless, better off with summer tires.
