Ford Scorpio Ultima Tire Review Highlights
I bought a 1996 Ford Scorpio Ultima RWD with 2 of these on the front and 1 Avon and 1 Triangle on the rear. I have done 24000 miles city and highway driving and the 3 triangle tires hardly show any wear, even if I wasn't always gentle on them, the Avon has reached the legal limit of thickness and picked up a nail somewhere, creating slow puncture.
The Triangle tires are excelllent on dry asphalt, not the best on wet, but thats with heavy foot and no t/c rwd, but comparing to Avon it performed much better on wet and dry. On a rainy day Avon tire would spin first everytime with moderate acceleration, taking Triangle with it.
I don't find these tires bad, they wear great, they're NOT noisy as some reviews suggest. I've had tires that were twice as expensive and they wore twice as fast and were twice as noisy! Also they look great on my car and compliment alloy wheels quite well.
