Honda CBR600RR Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 given 72% (180-55-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
To start off my review, i'll indicate that i'm using my bike and tires solely for road riding with some mild touring. Was running the Michelin Pilot Power 3 and it was very lasting with more than 30% life after 15,000km. Decided to give the S22 a try after reading some positive feedbacks. Initial feel was the willingness for the bike to lean over into corners. Also rode through heavy downpour at over 100km/h and the bike feels very stable. i noticed a small dimple pushed into the side of the tire, probably after hitting something pointy, and basically, i could insert my finger nail and pull out the surface dimple... hence quite skeptical about the longevity of the tire life.

Having done 6000 miles on these so far i have around another 6k to goall year round on my cbr600rr I had summer tires be for these, these tires are excellent for an everyday ride wear is great comfort if great but not fantastic on summers day getting knees down to other tires.

Having shed the stock Dunlops on my 600RR (which are frankly lethal in anything other than 35 celsius!) I can honestly say these are the best tires I have ever ridden on. True they are a sports tourer tire but the solid centre section gives superb longevity and the sticky off centres mean you complete confidence to push it a little bit around the bends. As a police trained advanced rider I can honestly give these my highest reccomendation.
