These were fitted by the used car dealer I bought from. I should have changed these the first time I had my abs activate when I thought I had braked reasonably. Two months later I ran up the back of another car and need a new bumper. The stopping distance in the wet, while using these, is far greater than you would reasonably expect. They don't grip off of the traffic lights in the dry, my tires spin with the bare mention of acceleration. About the only good thing is they have worn very little, so if you want to drive super conservatively everywhere, constantly worried if you will stay attached to the road, then these are very affordable. I'm stripping them off the car with plenty of Tred left.

I don't know why the tire is marked as UHP. it would probably fail my expectation for a UHP, but is impressive for a touring tire. Noise level is decently low for a tire with such price, and it also provides nice bounce absorption to give you a comfort ride. Rolling resistance is low and with the treadwear of 400, it is quite economic for prolonged usage. Dry performance is more than acceptable regarding the above properties. However, the wet grip is just terrible when comparing to the dry grip. My car just slid effortlessly on a slippy road when I turned with the speed I used to with my previous Nexen SU1, which is not one of the best tires on wet surfaces. Bottom line, it is good for most drivers looking for comfort and low expenditure, but must be very careful when they are on a wet road.

Changed over from summer tires to "all season" Vredestein 5 with much improved comfort & reduced noise. During "Beast from the East" tires gave confidence & good turn in/braking on snow, grip in sheet ice was not as good as full winter tires (as could be expected). Good wear, a decent price, nice all round tire.

Third set after Yokohama Advan AE10 (lasted 40.000 km), Falken ZE 914 ECORUN (lasted 50.000 km). Based on the tests and reviews this time I go for Ventus Prime 3. It's so sluggish on cornering, feels unsecure even with relatively easier turns. It doesn't even as good as budget Falken. This tires have killed all my passion for my car.

Driving on mostly country roads for 8000 spirited miles
I bought these after having Yokohama tires as standard. First thing i noticed was that the side walls are very soft but this doesn't make them particularly sloppy, instead it allows you to feel the limits of grip very easily and these tires are very grippy under all areas even though they are rated b for fuel economy which is good! Wet traction is almost as good as dry. also stopping distances in the dry was brilliant. These tires are also very quiet.

Seriously the worst tires by far. Dealer put these on as part of sale. No grip in wet at all. Skid on standing start, skid on mid corner acceleration, skid on roundabout turns. Only saved by car's ESP. Had them for 5 days and changed to Pirelli P7. The comparison can not even be measured by scale. These tires should be banned from the road as it's dangerous to use them in wet.

Good tires, excellent grip in all conditions even in the Spirited "Sport" Mode on the Car these held very well, had one fail on me due to side wall damage but due to severe pot holes in the local area this could have happened to ANY tire!

Good and would buy again (And Have!)

These tires were fitted as standard to my Honda CR-Z when I bought it. The car itself had only done about 6900 miles and was bought as an ex-Honda rep mobile so presumably most of those had been done on motorways and test tracks. I've put about 1000 miles on them myself and they are already down to about 50% tread, so I wouldn't expect more than 15-18,000 miles out of a set.

These tires are a bit of a mystery to me actually because they have all the hallmarks of an economy tire (hard compound, asymmetric tread design, come as standard equipment on a car designed for economy) yet somehow still manage to return pretty disappointing economy figures and are officially rated as a D for economy. I'm getting around 42mpg out of my hybrid CR-Z, and whilst I drive in a spirited manner, I'm not a hooligan redlining at every traffic light or smashing 100 on motorways, I stick to speed limits and hit the Eco button when in heavy traffic. If the official figures are to be believed, and I don't think in this case that they are in any way unreasonable, I should be returning around 48mpg, which I'm obviously not. I can only suspect it has something to do with the tires.

Grip in the dry is as good as can be expected from any Yokohama tire (this is the third set I've tried) but wet grip leaves a lot to be desired, on properly wet roads they seem sure footed enough and they've never come unstuck round a corner on me, but you know that point where a road isn't wet-wet and it isn't dry, it's sort of oily/slick? That's when this tire really suffers. Cornering remains stable at sensible speeds but pulling out of junctions becomes more about taking it slow and steady, as any revs over about 1700rpm spins the wheels in these oily conditions causing the ESC to kick in, making a quick junction getaway become a juddery, slow crawl from the line, not good on roundabouts or crossing carriageways. That said, if you understand this and adjust your driving accordingly it shouldn't be an issue, just drive safely and take a bit extra time on oily roads.

I bought the car in December so had the opportunity to treat it to some British snow and the tires performed exactly as you'd expect summer tires to.

All-in-all they aren't the worst tire out there, they just aren't the best and definitely don't live up to the Yokohama name. Considering a new set of these for my car will cost around £110 a corner, I think it's safe to say I will not be buying them again, I'll stick with a tire I know to grip better in oily conditions like the S-Drive or go for a tire that returns better mpg figures.
