Hyundai Santa Fe Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Tracmax X Privilo TX3 given 78% (225-70-16-)
Driving on mostly town for 10000 easy going miles
Installed on my Santa Fe as summer tires. Very quiet, decently comfy and very good on tarmac. Didn't push them but they are very good at 130-140 km/h. Didn't seem to lose much tread, definatelly would recommend for buy again. I had the X Privilo H/T model, which falls under TX3 I guess?

Driving on mostly town for 15000 easy going miles
Installed them on my Santa Fe, they are heavy and noisy and the fuel consumption went up the roof. Decent in snow but they overall feel heavy.

Driving on mostly country roads for 500 average miles
Came as OEM for my Hyundai Santa Fe TM Facelift. Using this car for family road trip, with average driving style, sometime spirited driving when needed in highway/intercity road. Found it quite good in dry condition, but bad in wet condition. I don't feel confident driving in wet, considering this is relatively new tire that came with a new car. Feedback and handling is average, and it's noisy. I can imagine how loud it's going to be when approaching it's end of cycle.

Driving on mostly motorways for 0 average miles
Bought these tires in hopes they would wear well, after 24,000 km had to change out front two tires due to wear. Replaced struts and did all front end work to eliminate any possible wear and started doing the rotations on the tires every 8-10K. However, with this being doing all tires have evenly worn out after an additional 30,000 km. Very disappointed as the original tires seem to have lasted, however, the new tires seem to only have 30K but after a full inspection of my vehicle there are no mechanical issues that would be causing the tires to wear.

Driving on mostly country roads for 15000 easy going miles
Very good on dry and wet roads, safe on highway at high speed under the rain. They're good for few kms on gravel and safe on wet grass (AWD). I tested them on few kms on fresh snow and they climb reasonably with reduced incline (AWD). Not recommended on snow in descents.

DO NOT BUY THESE TYRES!!!!!!
These have been the worst Tires I have ever had on any vehicle. after only 40000KM lumps began falling off revealing the wire mesh. Some damage was caused from curbs in parking, therefore very low speeds. I mostly drive highways and local suburban streets. These Tires have endured some large trips and I have never felt confident with them on the vehicle. In the wet they are dangerous - they have no grip, you slid around corners even at very low speeds roundabouts and signal light turns you can only pull away slowly or you are straight away slipping and sliding all over the road, they should not be allowed to sell a trye as poor quality as these. I had the Tires reviewed/ assessed by the original installers and was told they need to be replaced at 47000km these are the smallest Kilometers I have ever had from a set of Tires. They are not down to the wear indicator, but the rubber has gone "soft" were the words of the assessor and I was advised NOT to drive on dirt roads as more lumps were likely to come off. I purchased these on special at $190/ tire and had a care plan which I maintained for balancing and rotation. They have worn evenly.
DO NOT BUY THESE TYRES!!!!!!

Writing about the Avon ZV7 given 10% (235-60-18-)
Driving on mostly town for 5000 easy going miles
I've only driven 5000 miles on the Avon AS7 tires and already they are cracking and the tread is peeling. The MOT tester and several garages have all said that Avon tires are complete rubbish and I totally agree and will never buy them again. I hope this review saves someone else from making the same mistake.

Driving on mostly country roads for 15000 average miles
Used on Hyundai Santa Fe for 6 months. Good throughout summer and autumn. Wear well and not noisey given tread. Works extremely well on wet and very wet grass which is why I got them. No real experience on snow but I think they will be much better than summer tires.

Tires need replacing at 43,000km. Terrible wet weather usage to the point it make it dangerous to drive. Not suitable for non city driving . Will never buy again

Writing about the Landsail CLV2 given 51% (235-60-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 easy going miles
No major issues with the performance of the tires but the wear rate is appalling. Previous Nexen n fera ru1 lasted almost 30,000 miles but these Landsail have worn away in less than 10,000. False economy so please look elsewhere.

Put the tires on in march this year and they didn’t even last 20,000 kilometres I wouldn’t recommend them in a pink fit the absolute worst tires I have ever had
