Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Sailun Atrezzo ZSR given 70% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
Honestly, out of many of these economy tires, the ZSR actually is quite good. On my 2nd set on one car and first on another. On an AWD car the grip is actually quite good. No sliding, no unreasonable understeer unless the car is setup badly alignment or pressure wise. In the wet, it handles quite good, but it's no high end performance.. if you plan to push hard on wet country roads, they'll complain, yet handle, but not for some speeds. Even in FWD, they handle quite well. And at this price point, it doesn't hurt if the tire needs replacing. They behave fairly well even as they age also. In 5 years the first set I had Lasted a couple Autocross events as well as the average drive, with no issues of losing control. Of course everyone will have different views, however I've found them to be great.

Have very good traction in the dry, and a good wet traction, for a semi slick

These are a great tires... and a leap over their N3000 model, which did not have the level of dry grip and worse in rain. They are not an aggressive tire if you are looking for such, however if you are looking for something good and a fair price, this should be an option. been used in autocross runs and have been quite satisfied.

i downgraded my car to use street tire.. i was planning to get Michelin Super Pilot Sport.. but minimum is 18 inch..
then i look into Michelin PS3.. but one of my dc5 friend said PS2 is better.. he is quite regret of using ps3 after ps2.. at the end i got myself with 4 x GoodYear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2

This tire grip surprise me.. its feeling is very good. Even i push my car hard into corner and it will still bite..
when i high speed..its unbelievable comfort for reduce speed quick and then switch lane to overtake ppl with very precise lining.

while normal rolling.. its very comfort with a lot less noise compare to previous toyo R1R.. especially uneven rocky road.

i guess the few weakness is if i push to car very hard in track.. its grip might start fading.
but so far play touge no problem given. Perhaps i'm not the pro.
