Peugeot Partner Teepee (2010) Tire Review Highlights

Overall good impression of these, decent quality tires for a fair price, considering these are all-weather & XL load rated.

Bought a Peugeot Partner Teepee with 3 cheap/mid-range tires & 1 old Michelin (with cracking Sidewall ). On inspection, there were deep cracks running along the tread grooves on one of the cheap tires, so it was clear that this had to be replaced along with the Michelin.

I decided to stick the two new tires on the back to preserve their life, and run down the two old tires on the front.

Did a lot of driving around UK and a two thousand mile road trip to Europe - tires performed faultlessly up to 150km/h on German Autobahn, and in temperatures up to 38.

Ride is a bit bouncy (it's a French car!), and there's a bit of booming from the rear, but this is probably down to a van-derived design & lack of sound-proofing in rear. Handling is spot on, it's well controlled on bends & roundabouts, and the rear is always well placed. Wet performance is reliable, having driven at speed along country lanes in pouring rain, without any problems, though had a few aqua-planing incidents on Motorway in very heavy rain recently - on inspection this was due to one of the front tires being worn close to the limit.

Highly recommended, will be fitting two more Kumhos on the front this year.

Driving on mostly country roads for 9000 average miles
I had the predecessor to this tire, the Bridgestone Weather Control pre A005 version and found it to be the best tire I'd ever used in wet weather conditions. The A005 version, although it looks different in tread design, has the same excellent performance in wet weather. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the wear/longevity as the full set wore down to the markers in only 9000 miles. This is obviously a very soft compound which improves the cold and wet weather performance but when driven year round, as in my case, the tire life is much shorter than i expected. Whilst I am using a heavy vehicle (Peugeot Expert Tepee) I have the correct XL load rated tire and do not heavily load the vehicle and I have not driven at high speeds on motorways. I think I'll get a rock hard van specific tire next time. TLDR: Good grip, dissapointing wear.

Really impressed with this cheap tire for all year use. Performed well in -15c temps and snow.

Ik bought these to replace my stock Conti premiumcontact tires for winter and I couln'd believe how the changed the car in whole. I felt like having another car all sudden.
While the Conti's drifted in allmost all conditions (really terrible tires !) the Michelin's glued themselves to the road. I felt like my huge Peugeot Partner suddenly became a sportsback. And it hadn 't even snowed yet !
Then snow came together wit tempatures of - 12 celcius.
In snow the tires break like the is no snow, even on ice the break better than the Conti's did in the rain. Grip in snow is fantastic ! So mush that I "ordered" my wife she had to take this car as long as the snow hasn 't melted.

These tires are extremely recomended by me and because I bought them before the 'winter-tire-rush' I only payed €360 to have 'm all four fitted.

I 've had these tire's on my Peugeot Partner when bought new, but they're not as good as the brand would asume. They are really terrible on wet roads and only good in warm weather, combined with dry roads.
The ones on the front where worn off after only 20.000 km, but that had a lot to do with a bad camber from factory.
I won't buy these again ever. They're expensive and not worth the money. I will see what brand I'll choose as time coms.
