I bought 4 tires from walmart web page "Sunitrac Focus 9000 275/45R19, but that was the worst purchase that I did in my entire life, 2 tires, one at front and the second one on rear didn't have yet 1200 miles on the road and already have a bombs and when I took out from my car the layers inside de tire was pillet out like paper. Really the worst tires that i have ever buy. And now just waiting for the others two tires to f-up as well

My initial thoughts on the Outpost nAT are that they're definitely my favorite all-terrain tire I've ever had. My past all-terrain experience includes the Falken Wildpeak AT3W, BF Goodrich KO2, Toyo Open Country AT3, and Goodyear Duratrac. I think of that bunch, the Wildpeak is still going to hold the title as the quietest of the bunch with the Nokian being pretty similar to the Toyo AT3 in terms of tread noise. Neither of them are very noisy at all, but with the Wildpeak having the most road focused tread pattern it makes sense as to why it's just a bit quieter. Speaking of the tread blocks, this was one area of pleasant surprise when I got my eyes on the tires for the first time. I don't think pictures portray how aggressive the tread block voids and sidewall design is. It is a quite aggressive all-terrain and probably fits well into the category in between a tire like the Wildpeak and something more aggressive like the Duratrac of Baja Boss AT.

I believe these to be a better overall winter performer than the WR G4 SUV tires they replaced, and mostly due to how much better they are in the way of hydroplane resistance and how much more confidently they take on snow piles/drifts on highways where there is contact with the road surface in some areas of a road lane but not the whole lane. In fresh, softer snow these have braking performance that was nearly on par with the Hakkas I had on a previous vehicle, very impressive. I would expect the Hakka to still distance itself when the surface changes to hard packed snow and especially smoother ice. But it's hands down the best performance I've experienced from an all-terrain tire.

I've had reasonable experiences with budget brands in the past, so I'm not a tire snob by any means. I also bought the car with these tires fitted, so have no confirmation bias after paying my own money for them.

These Triangles were fitted as new on the car when I picked it up. Initial impressions of dry grip were actually quite positive. I didn't push the car to its limits and so I didn't experience any issues. Likewise I found them a bit quieter than some premium brands I'd experienced when test driving other cayennes prior to buying mine.

In the wet however, it's a different story. The first hint that they might not be much good was when I had to drive up a damp and greasy driveway. The 4WD system shuffled the power around trying to find some grip, but this became an almost laughable process the car really struggled to haul itself up the incline over the course of about 20 seconds of wheel-spinning chaos.

Since then, each time I've driven the car in the wet, I've done so on tip toes. The wet grip on these things is non-existent. Even navigating roundabouts, medium sized bends at normal road speeds results in the car understeering. Faster, less curved bends can result in a disconcerting 'float' as the car loses grip on all corners.

Having owned 70+ cars, I can only think of a couple of times I've bought one and thought 'these tires are dangerous' and I think these Triangles are the most extreme example of this. Avoid at all costs.

Allright i needed a pair of new tires for my Porsche Cayenne S 2011 V8, and my garage putted these on (without asking me) so far very noisy, even at low speeds, I’m considering to bring these tires back to my garage. I don’t like noisy tires at all, especially by nice sounded engines. I will not recommend this tire for SUV’s with wider size then 275, the test results are all good and Audi and Porsche fit them also from factory on these, but cannot understand why. I think the extra money to get Pirelli or Michelin is worth it.

Review from Switzerland: Quatrac Pro 275/45/20 on a Porsche Cayenne S. (4x4 , V8) First of all I need to say It`s so cool to see that lots of Quatrac Pro drivers experience the smooth ride (because this is what every driver wants , no ?) I explain my decision for the Quatrc Pro and also why I bought this while living in Switzerland and having a tinyhouse in the Swiss Alps (Lauterbrunnen - Grindelwald Area) I`m also a tire-freak same es John and many others here :) I have read a lot of reviews , here but also in the German magazines (Autobild) from the beginning this Quatrac Pro has been a very high rated tire it`s not the best for snow (that`s right) but it safe for snow and that`s maybe the most important part. Here in Switzerland they are a bit old fashion - they better play safe and lots of people drive with full winter in winter, and full sommer in sommer, but as you all know the climate can change quickly.. stronger snowfall (earlier as exspected) or `later` then expected as we have lived 4 years right in the middle of the Alps at that time I bought Quatrac 5 on our Land Rover Discovery Sport, I have driven that tire in full snow, mountain roads everything and I was flabberguested how good the Quatrac 5 was on our Land Rover. As we own now an heavy Cayenne S (with V8 and 4x4) (2008) I was looking for 1 set of tires which keep us safe all year long and most important --> with a smooth and compfy ride and which will do a good job in the wet and I need to admit,... the look / design of the Quatrac Pro is really good! I had the CrossClimate+ on our A3 but that Tank-Pattern (V-shape) I never liked it to be honest.. So I decided to go for the Quatrac Pro (based on good experiences with the Quatrac 5) and I`m very positieve about this tire. Smooth, comfy, looks great, fuel alright everthintg good: The only test I haven`t done yet with the Porsche is driving in snow (this will be a challange cause we have 275/45/20) but as they predict snow for next weekend I will update with a short Snow-Review. The Quatrac Pro is driving very comfy, sporty as well and looks fantastisc! knowing that the Quatrac Pro is really really good in the wet I think this is for every person who don`t like to change the wheels and want to be safe all year long. It all depends on in what area you live, what car you drive (rwd,fwd,awd) and also what do you expect from a tire. We don`t go racing in winter, so we will be safe with the Quatrac, if you like to race in snow conditions then of course the Wintrac Pro is a much better option but: the Quatrac Pro has a lot of potential. I put 4 of these on my Porsche Cayenne 4.5S and they have lasted 12000 miles. They are still legal but the outer edges on the front ones are wearing a bit thin, but that is expected on such a heavy car. The rear ones have 2 to 3mm but I am changing all 4. I think for a budget tire they are excellent.

Got these on a Cayenne S, they replaced Michelin Latitude Sport tires that wore down after 20,000km. These have lasted 40,000km so far with about 50% tread remaining. They're definitely quieter and softer to ride on. I would say more on the comfort side. Steering is not as sharp as the Michelin's, wet grip is definitely a big improvement. Have driven these tires to 250kph and am very confident they are well made.
