Having done some more research Roadstone is actually a brand name for Nexen tires, so they are labelled as budget, but are actually lower mid range tires. They are actually very good tires on the road, feel nicely planted and don't roll in the corners. They need minimum 500 miles to wear in, but slowly get better.

Pros: Cheap, great dry and wet grip, plenty of feedback and they feel well planted on the road

Cons: they are a little hard and you feel every pot hole and bump, this is a minor issue and not one to totally put you off.

Verdict: Knowing they are actually Nexen tires, these perform very well compared to a lot of mid range tires. I got a pair fitted for less than £100! which is amazing. They are perfect for any small and medium sized car with low to medium power.

My usual go to tire brand is Falkern, but had some hankooks fitted on recommendation. They were awful tires, didn't last long, rubbish in the wet and generally very disappointed. Needed new front tires, so did some research and found out that Roadstone is a brand name of Nexen tires. Purely going on the price of them (very cheap)and the fact I'm only keeping the car another year, thought why not give them a try.

Very impressed so far (only 200 miles in, but will update later on) Feel better placed on the road, dry grip better and wet grip loads better. Road noise was about the same as the hankooks, but you feel the road more. Can't comment on wear, but can't see them being any less than the Hankooks. Overall I'm very happy and will porbably look at Roadstone or Nexen for the other car.
