Good tire with ugly look, the tire so quiet and comfort

Dry and wet grip like my previus Nokian Hakka Green, but less noisy. Cosy drive, handling in tarmac great but some more accuracy for pavel roads please. Nice price, my first real chinese brand tires.

Writing about the Michelin CrossClimate given 85% (225-45-17-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 25000 average miles
Replaced oem Bridgestone which were worn out at 15000 miles. The Michelin are showing about 50% wear at 25000, and this alone would guarantee repurchase when necessary. But handling, comfort and ride also excell, the car feeling very different and inspiring confidence in all situations, both wet and dry.

Writing about the Bridgestone Weather Control A005 given 47% (255-40-19-V)
Driving on mostly motorways for 0 easy going miles
Very noisy and with important wear after only 30000km. So, take into consideration that you can use them for maximum 2 winters - at least in Eastern Europe. I will not buy them again!

Writing about the Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport given 40% (235-50-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 24000 average miles
These came VW factory-fitted as summer tires on my second-hand Tiguan. Driven all summer on them and now just changed to the winter tires...what a difference. I had assumed it was the Tiguan's set-up and probably partly is, but now with the winter tires on I can hear/feel just how noisy and imprecise the Bridgstones were. I do a fair amount on rough winding mountain roads and never felt confident to really attack the road because I couldn't predict how the car would react because it was jumping around and usually understeering. On the straighter "main roads", the noise was really too loud....the Tiguan has a lot of sound-proofing but even so it couldn't deal with these tires and overall I felt much happier in my 22 year-old Ford Focus. The positive....these tires have done 24000 miles of summer driving and still have 6.5-7 mm tread. I'd really like not to put them back on next spring but that's a lot of money to "throw away"

Great tire - handles really well. Very little road noise. Good comfortable ride. Very good breaking - have had to pull up sharply a couple of times and the tire has really responded. For an expensive tire though, I am a little disappointed with the total kilometers (just 45,000km). I have regularly rotated the tires, kept them balanced and front end aligned. I don't think they have had any tough driving conditions, and so the only reason I probably won't buy them again, is I'd like a tire with better mileage.

Writing about the Dunlop SP Sport 01 given 90% (235-55-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 28000 average miles
Superb tire, good in all conditions, Rear tire's still have 5.5mm tread, front wheels down to 3mm. Less noise than Continental, or Bridgestone. Still a sharp looking tread would definitely recommend them to anybody with a Tiguan.

Writing about the Jinyu YU61 given 91% (235-50-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
For the reviewers who call these "crap" do not know what they are talking about -- in my 50 years of motoring I always opted for Good Year or Michelin or one of the top marks -- well as for the JinyuYU61 they are made by the same company as the Evergreen tires -- the quality is every bit as good on appearance as Michelin -- they look as good as any Premium brand.
As for performance on my VW Tiguan they are very quiet, good grip in both wet and dry -- so far I have done 2000 miles and I will predict they will do some 30,000 plus miles -- one very delighted customer -- highly recommended tires and will certainly buy them again. Price for 4 tires fitted was £278
