For 2022, the excellent German test organisation ADAC have tested 15 crossover SUV winter tires in 215/60 R16 and 15 winter tires in 185/65 R15.

The results below are for the 215/60 R16 test, where we have a few interesting quirks in the overall results.

As usual, Continental, Goodyear, and Michelin were at the front of the test, but this time joined by Dunlop, Goodyears sub-brand. The new Yokohama Blue Earth Winter V906 performed well, the Bridgestone LM005 proves to be the best in the dry and wet, and have the lowest fuel consumption as usual, and the Vredestein Wintrac performed better in the 185/65 R15 test than it did in this test.
