165/60 R14 Tire Review Highlights
Writing about the Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons Gen 2

I do not recommend these tires. I purchased this tire less than 10 months ago, expecting at least a reasonable lifespan given the price and brand reputation. Unfortunately, it has already developed a significant defect, making it completely unsafe to drive on.

I fitted this tire on a Kia picanto 5 years ago and drive them for 91,000km.
Honestly they are amazing I couldn’t believe the wear of this tire.
What also impressed me is the wet and dry handling of this tire. I used to be scared driving when it rains but ever since I fitted them I couldn’t wait for it to rain to try them out.
I had fitted Vredesteins previously and they are not even comparable to the Tigars I have now.
After 5 years I will be fitting them again and I would highly recommend this tire brand for anyone looking for a great ratio of quality to price.

Writing about the Vredestein Sportrac 5

Very prone to understeer in dry & wet conditions, possibly the worst tire I've ever bought. Don't handle aqua-plaining that well but in a small & light car many tires struggle here. Getting them to spin is easy even when moving let alone a standing start. ABS triggers under heavy braking consistently. Compared to my previous Bridgestones Potenza RE040 the Sportrac 5's are a wobbly mess. Wear seems fine, expect them to last a while although I can't wait to get rid of them.

Fitted on a Kia Picanto 1. Very well priced with good city driving performance. Car feels great with them on dry roads. Wet roads its a bit more of a challenge, but that could bet the 165 width to blame… Ride is quiet and comfetable.

Have these tires fitted to car a while ago.
After 4000 miles the tire had a blowout not to mention the cracking and what felt like the tires no longer being round anymore.
If you value your life and safety please consider a better tire.

I bought these tires for my Hyundai i10 around 2 years and am pleased with the dry handling, however these tires can be a little unpredictable in wet or rain.
I paid £200 for a set of 4 fitted and balanced, I probably would consider a better tire but no complaints about the wear rate or value for money.

Terrible noise!!

Emergency brake on dry tarmac easily lock up the wheel. Hard cornering can easily send me sideways even at ~60kmh on tarmac. Wet grip on straight is ok, but when cornering is horrible I got my wheel spun at 20kmh uphill cornering on wet road and my car going downhill even I'm holding the brake. I do some weekend drive up Genting Highland (a hill climb in Malaysia), if I wasn't going fast enough then it is ok, but when I'm going faster around the corner and the car will go sideways as it cannot hold up the traction to turn the car. Then I joined an autocross event, my car only got 68hp and getting wheel spin on 1st and 2nd gear for quite some distance when launching it on tarmac. But, this tire does getting better after really warmed up. I don't feel like it is a really good tire for more aggressive driving style. Used this tire for 8000km, the front wheel got no thread left after the autocross (I only drive 8 rounds), the rear got about 50% left. Very disappointed :c it cost RM840 (~200USD) for a whole set and it perform badly. It's comfortable anyway, but only when new. Because of budget issue, I changed to a used Goodyear GT3 and it perform a lot better !!!

Fitted them on my 05 Kia Picanto 1.1
Pros: Cheap, £29 a corner fitted. Still have 3mm after 7k miles, it is better than expected.
Cons: Lack of grip in both dry and wet, I would not expect much on a £29 tire, but I do not feel safe driving my car in wet on these LS388.
I wouldn't recommend these tires, should have spent more to get a better one.

I was a little concerned about trying these tires but I don't drive like a boy racer so I decided to give them a go
I have been pleasantly surprised with the comfort and handling in both wet and dry and the grip has been very good
There is some type noise but not too much

Writing about the Hifly HF201

We found HIFLY tires for our Hyundai I 10 very good buy as we do a lot of mileage. We are both retired and travel all over. Had Khumo before but could not afford them.We are very happy with our HIFLY HF 201 tires.
